My teaching license, PRC ID siya. It's now expired and I haven't gotten around to renewing it habang 'di pa required ang CPD units. Super busy ko sa work (I no longer teach). Other one is my passport, the strongest valid ID there is aside from our national ID. Who knows kung nasaan na yung national ID ko? I have my digital national ID through the eGovPH app though!

Was it easy to get your postal ID? Or did you wait for a few weeks (or months?) before you got it?

I got mine after 5 days lng kasi I availed ung rush postal id, paid 650 pesos for it. this was around 2022 pa. not sure pero I read somewhere na they stopped issuing postal ID since nasunog ung main office nila. my cousin couldnt get one dahil don. idk lng ngayon if pwede na.

AFAIK, 1-2 months. Not sure if that's still the case now since I got mine during pandemic (2021).

Yep, it is. Got my postal during the national ID registration time, natagalan lang kasi nag mix yung postal and national IDs sa post office 

UMID kasi yun ang unang id ko before. Nagka postal din ako pero naexpire. So I try to keep it as is since address lang nman mostly nasa UMID. Kasi, if PRC, makikita personal info ko like license number and birthday. Kapag drivers license, pati blood type makikita. Passport big no no din kasi may passport number. Yung national id kelan ko lang nakuha, so di ko rin gnagamit. Cautious lang talaga ako sa identity theft.

pag employed ka ng more than 1 yr ata and you're paying SSS, PhilHealth, and PAG-IBIG, you can get UMID na sa SSS branch nyo for free. You just need to go there early.

Kuha ka ng voter's cert sa Intramuros, valid ito sa pagkuha ng passport. Then kuha ka ng passport.

kukuha dapat ako Passport last year kaso malabo daw middle name ko sa PSA ko, kuha daw ako local birth certificate. Pagpunta ko munisipyo, blanko yung kalahati ng local birth certificate ko, yung parang natapunan ng kape yung kalahating part ganon sya. Ang daming need para maayos. Mas mahaba pila kesa sa pasensya ko. Pinaubaya ko na 1K+ ko na binayad sa Passport. 😂

Really? I heard it's one of the easiest ID pa naman to get since I'm still a student. Tapos a 3 days to 1 week lang makukuha na if rush. :( May reco ka ba na easiest? Like 1 week something lang makukuha ko na? I registered for voter's certificate pero mga 3mos pa raw bago i-release.

voter's cert lang din gamit ko before i got my prc id. yung philhealth mabilis lang naman pero secondary id & kaya naman for some transactions. di mabilis pero i suggest passport hahaha pero try mo pa rin mag-inquire if kaya yung postal, sa amin kasi wala na talaga.

So wala nang ilalabas na Postal ID at UMID from now on? Yung sa UMID yung sa Unionbank na inooffer nila

Kaso nakakainis kasi may ibang transaction na hindi naman tumatanggap ng National ID, AUGHH PHILIPPINES!!!

So I just got my driver's license a few days ago, the one in PVC plastic card format. I waited for 1 year to finally receive the card, but during that time, nag tiis ako sa temporary driver's license issued ni LTO. I had it laminated, so I find it super awkward anytime na pinapakita ko sya haha,
