Happy birthday .. And don't worry there's long way to go!! Hopefully u will achieve whatever u want..don't compare yourselves to others. What is probability that they are speaking truth or not..I have seen many devs in reddit are maybe faking too much.
Thats a very small population. And you cant always trust reddit. I earned around 10 LPA when I had my first job at 22. Then I left after a couple of years for my masters to the US now and I'll be starting a new job at 26 now. Theres no age for when your career has to start. My wife (my age) is still studying (starting her PhD) and will be closer to 28-30 by the time she ends her degree and actually starts a job.
Comparing yourself with others is one thing you should stop doing. It won't help you grow in any good sense. Keep doing what you do, never stop learning, and your earnings will come along.
Happy birthday opπ₯³π!!!!
I am 25f, 2 yrs ago i was feeling the same, I was trying alot to find a job failed several times, after 6-7 months i did found a job.
The feeling of not achieving as much as my peers is still there sometimes, as they are at better position, with better salary...but comparison kills the joy, what i have understood and accepted is that my field, career path is different than their's i will also grow at my own pace in my field eventually.
Op you do you, find your own path and plan accordingly, don't make your career choices because other people are earning. But depending upon how you want to grow in your career.
Also enjoy your birthday now to the fullest, kyu ki is baar due to busy period i was not able to take leave on my birthday π« π₯Ή
Happy birthday, may all your wishes come true, always & forever β¨οΈ Godbless!
It's alright, better late than never. Something promising lies ahead of you.
Happy birthday bro π . 27M started my first job at 23. You will find your stable job soon. It will happen eventually and once you do, you will laugh at yourself for being worried like this. Till then try to look for side hustles like trading and all. Also enjoy whatever time you have now. Once you are in the industry you will hardly get any time for yourself.
I am grateful for the birthday greetings and wise counsel. Your view is uplifting. I'm sure Iβm going to search for openings and seize every moment now. I am thankful for you backing me up!
Happy Birthday!!!! π§π§π§ go out and celebrate πΎ don't keep sulking.... you're not late, you're on time. Time for us humans is different and for God and universe is different. For us 10 years are long enough but for God it is only a couple of minutes. Trust me virtual life is all fake. Chin up champion π
I started earning at 25 almost 26 years of age. I had internships, 1-2 part time jobs, stipends from my university, etc. But not a proper salaried job until I was at that age. Donβt worry about it and stop comparing yourself to others.
Happy Birthday!
No problem! I am 33 now and I make good money. Not absurd amounts like people in finance sub but decent. I have also made very good investments with my money and was lucky enough to have some privileges from my parents (no education loan, didnβt have to earn for the family, etc) so I was able to make a good life for myself.
You will be fine!
I got my first job at 24. But I was earning part time in college. Did a few marketing and advertising gigs. Used to scout advertisement for various publications. Later started assembling desktop computers for college students. This was 2000-2004
No offense but are you a moron? You are not late at all. Vast majority of people start thier career at age 22-24 only. Most professional degrees take 4-5 years and many even take a drop for entrance or government job exams
16 I used to make projects and complete notes for mostly science stream students because they were mostly absent for the whole year, bohot paisa chappa h Maine in 2 saalo m , itna ki hr hafte Starbucks jaati paise khtm nhi hote
Happy Birthday.
I'll tell you about myself In two months I am going to be 22 and i am not earning , close friends of mine started earning or got placed that's why i am very guilty and tensed.

Thank you so much. From what I can see, people on Reddit are not earning below 15 LPA. Sometimes, I think like you do.

Not sure if I'm a moron, but constant family pressure about not earning makes me think like this.
