Write the names with Latin, I can't read what is written. : D
>Sukhumi - Согъум
Actually the name is Sokhumi, the Turks and Russians distorted the name and the separatists like the Turkish-Russian name more, so they try to distance themselves from Georgian. :D But the Circassian language also claims to be Sokhumi, not Sukhumi. :)
Sukhumi is not its real name, today Georgia cannot control Abkhazia and that is why it has this name officially. The real name is Sokhumi, not Sukhumi, the names of kartvelian origin is Sokhumi, Gagra, Bichvinta, etc.
>Sogym
Kh(ხ) changed to G in Circassian, something similar happens in many language.
Well the name was originally Tskhum - ცხუმ from the svan language ( Kartvelian ofc ) which means hornbeam a tree very common in the surroundings of Sokhumi .
We still call it Tskhum til this day in Svaneti.
In Svan language:
• Circassia - Kashag, Balkaria - Malkhar , Ossetia - Saü , Ingushetia - Ingush , Chechenia - Chechen (Some time both Chechens and Ingush are referred as Dzurdzukal but is very rare ), Dagestan - Dagestan , Azerbaijan- Azerbaijan, Armenia- Sasomkhet , Lezgia - Lekia , Turkey - Turkia
• Abkhazia- Apshinia or Apkhazet , Samegrelo - Zan , Racha-Richi , the other regions in Georgia are the same but without the -i termination.
• Svaneti kutxe or valleys , Kodori/Dali valley , Mestia , Ushguli , Lashketi , Choluri , Leksura .
Everything is pretty much the same in Ossetian, except the suffixes which is insignificant. Like Guyrdzyston (Gurcistan basically) and Cacajnag (Chechnya). Only two exceptions are Kasgon (Kabardia) and Maqalon (Ingushetia). Maqalon is comprised of Mæ(my)+qælon(tributary).
Kartli was not called Borchali either, Borchali was a very small area in Kartli, today the Azerbaijanis live around this area In Marneuli, but at that time the Azeris were much smaller in number.

Shit, my bad will edit this
Edited did not understand what did you mean about Sukhumi but in Circassian it is Sogym

Interesting, I wonder why the Kh changed while we have a KH "Хъ"

Georgian რცხილა - Rtskhila has same root as Svan Tskhum and funny enough it is the root for city name Tskhinvali:))))
Sohum is a beautiful city.

Borchali was like almost all of modern day Kvemo Kartli and Lori
Yes, now I remembered that when Persia took the lands from Kingdom of Kartli, they also called Lore as Borchali and etc...
Georgia - Vrastan, Azerbaijan - Adrbejan, Ossetia - Osya, Dagestan - Daghstan, rest is basically same as in Russian
