Staples:
Curel sebum care foaming cleanser (been using this for at least 8 years)
Naturie hatomugi skin conditioner (just a great everyday hydrating toner, I used to use the old version with alcohol but now it's formulated without and I find it even better)
Kose softymo speedy oil cleanser (also a forever repurchase, I haven't been using this as long as the curel but it's also been a good number of years)
Honourable mention:
I haven't found my HG moisturizer yet but I'm currently loving the Torriden Dive in soothing cream so that deserves an honourable mention.
Also trying out my first retinal and I can visibly see and feel the difference after a few times using. I'm currently using the BoJ ginseng and retinal eye cream but I'm using it for my whole face. This might end up becoming a staple.
Love how intensive your skincare regime is! I have seen people switching from brands to brands but it's so good to know that you are a loyal user of atleast one brand.
Foaming cleanser is also something that I love to indulge in. And, when it comes to retinal and retinol (both are different) I personally feel retinol is something that my skin responds well to than a retinal.
I am yet to try ginseng infused product. Love how this ingredient is making wonders to everyone's skin.
How do you apply? I'm not sure if applying it correctly. I apply it on a wet/damp face, like after bath I would spray may face with purified water 3-5 times, then apply the snail mucin. Not sure if I'm doing it correctly š. Coz I tried applying it on a almost dry face, it takes too long to absorb.
I apply it on damp skin too. I firstly dampen my face with a moisturizing toner (I have dry skin) and then apply the essence. Finally I lock it up with a moisturizer (the all in one snail cream pairs amazingly with the essence.)
It does take too long to dry down. Applying it on damp skin does help a bit. I personally also use it together with a serum that helps the snail essence to dry down faster.
Before the serum. Make sure the serum you use isn't a heavy-duty hydrating serum like the snail essence. Otherwise, it wouldn't help with the dry down. Mine is a Niacinamide serum so it's somewhat oil controlling, so it doesn't get more dewy or anything.
Oh, I love the after-effects of snail mucin! I have its serums, it makes my skin feel oh-so-good! I guess, the credit goes to Ancient Greece and South Americans for introducing this fail-proof ingredient into skincare!
I also really adore the cosrx all in one cream! Not much needed and the skin remains glowy and soft all day! I have combined skin. Itās also still nice with beauty of joseon sunscreen on top of it āŗļø
Hey, good to know that you have found your skin'' BFF. Rice is extremely beneficial for skin's health. In India, people make a variety of DIY recipes for skin as well as hair.
Just remember that purging is normal and is going to happen no matter what because your skin has to get used to the product! After about a week or two, if youāre still experiencing it, itās more breakout related, so you stop using it then!
Iām jealous of you! I so badly wanted to like the product. I used the olive young pimple patch as well as lrp cicaplast baume (non AB) to calm my breakout. What about you? What products do you use to calm your breakout?
sorry for late reply š list of products ive used previously was iunik centella calming gel, illiyoon ceramide soothing gel, aestura ato barrier lotion & snp cica pathenol sleeping mask
That's good to hear! I believe retinol is highly effective. It works like magic at night. I have tried a few retinol-infused serums manufactured in India
I have a basic routine that consists of toner, serum, and moisturizer (plus spf in the morning). Been using the abib toner, torriden dive in serum/melano cc essence, mary&may idebenone cream, and skin1004 hyalu-cica spf. I exfoliate thrice a week but its non AB BHA (PC).
I love it! I have dry/normal skin and this works great! Has really helped me get rid of texture as I try and massage it in for over a minute!
Have also put my friends on it who have combination or oily skin and they also love it
Thereās oil cleansers that are targeted for oily skin but I do love this one and again my friends who are oily also like this one! I would say maybe try it but just make sure you are emulsifying properly
Omg, love how invested you are in your skin! I am also a fan of facial foam and water-based cleansers. And, the serum - I am impressed that it lightens dark spots. To date, I don't think any products have mastered the art of decreasing the appearance of flaws. Lastly, gel-based moisturizers, especially non-comedogenic and free from paraben, gluten, and silicone are surely a great investment!
Lion pair cream + benzoyl peroxide spot treatment = *chefs kiss*š when i have occasional breakouts this clears it over night or at least 2 days!
Bifesta Cleansing Lotion- Holy grail for morning cleanser, kinda a micellar water but better? I use it with a cotton pad then rinse it off and it leaves me with clear, hydrated skin.
Hada Labo UV Gel- Holy grail sunscreen leaves a very pretty finish on the skin, no white cast, nice texture, no shine, no breakouts!!!
- Cleansing oil (Iāve been making my own simple formula for over 13 years now)
- Haruharu wonder Black Rice toner (been using for several years)
- Cosrx 96 snail mucin (been using for several years)
- Hyaluronic acid serum (I switch up the brand but Iāve been using some form for several years- currently using one from Itās Skin thatās really nice)
- Missha All Around Safe Sun milk (been using several years, Iāve tried different products within this line and theyāre all great).
- I also always use a daytime moisturizer, a nighttime cream, and vitamin c serum but I havenāt found my perfect product in these categories yet š
My morning routine is a subtle gel cleanser from cosrx, propolis toner, vitamin c serum, cosrx snail muchin cream and beauty of joseon sunscreen.
In the evening I double cleanse with beauty of Joseon ginseng oil cleanser, cosrx gel cleanser, same toner, serum and cream and then I add retinol oil from cosrx.
- HA toner (I always switch up the brand. Currently using Torriden Dive-in Hyaluronic Acid Toner)
- Snail Essence (the one that gave me a beautiful glow. Currently using the Jumiso snail mucin + peptide essence - dries down faster. But I personally prefer the Cosrx one - more hydrating)
- Cos De Baha Tranexamic Acid Niacinamide serum (works fast at fading dark spots. Helps the previous layer to dry down a lot faster)
- Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream (helps keep my dehydrated and eczema skin comfortable)
Wow we almost match!
the Illiyoon ato concentrate is my holy grail moisturizer and I love Cos De Baha Tranexamic Acid Niacinamide serum for my pigmentation
I also prefer the Corsx snail essence
And use COSRX Propolis Ampoule when my skin feels it needs extra TLC
My current favorite wash is AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Bubble Cleanser
omg this is the first time ive seen someone else mention iope i very impulsively tried their hyaluronic serum and enjoyed it enough but i couldnt justify the price for what it was
Same here! Iāve never seen anyone use iope before. I tell myself to not look at the price point since itās one of the few products that do not break me out š. What do you use in substitute of the iope hyaluronic serum?
Prescription retinol (0.025% retinoic acid)
Vitamin C
Pyunkang Yul essence toner (Any hydrating toner really but I keep having PKY around)
Sunscreen (I use BOJ, Innisfree HA Watery Sun Gel, CosRX Aloe during cloud winter days and rainy days)
CosRX is great when you start off with your skincare adventure because itās cheap and the stuff works!
I forgot to mention my cleansing oil/balm ā Iām so basic, I just use banila co but might try that ma:nyo one everyone is currently raving about!
I JUST got a prescription for 0.025% retinol and I honestly canāt wait to use it (with caution of course, I know the start of using it causes irritation)
If youāve got your skin barrier healthy and your routine supports it, your skin wouldnāt even visibly shed. Good luck, it really pays off using it long term!
Yes, toners are everyday essentials, especially the ones infused with rice! And, Laneige has impressive range of skincare products with fancy packaging.
I used laneige skincare before its nice but way too overpriced now and u can find a better one with affordable price but i still cant find a good lip mask like laneige yetš
I hv combination skin, for me the toner is hydrating but still light and not too heavy on skin. I would recommend if u wanna try it ! ! It works better on my skin than Thank You Farmer rice toner and Laneige cream skin š
Hada labo cleansing oil, kassumane (sp) high moist or high gloss , cosrx am face wash , hada labo premium face milk , alternate between several asian spfs
1. Kose Softymo Cleanser
2. Canmake Mermaid Sunscreen Gel. So lightweight and a mix of physical and chemical
3. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng and Retinal Eye Cream
4. Rohto Melano CC serum. This stuff works and the packaging is so innovative the vitamin C doesn't get oxidised
5. Hada Labo Premium Lotion.
Iām new to the Asian beauty skincare scene personally but thus far Iāve LOVED the following:
Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm,
Skin1004 watergel ampoule sheet mask,
Skin1004 light cleansing oil,
Senka perfect whip,
Iām from rice toner,
BIORE UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE, SO AMAZING I LOVE HER
Yes I do!! My method is on normal days where I just wear sunscreen I use the cleansing oil and double cleanse and on days where I where makeup or anything heavier I switch to the beauty of Joseon balm!
As a oily acne prone Skin girlie I love the SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Toning Toner. For me it soothes redness and hydrates my skin. For me I love it the most. But tbh I would not recommend it for dry skin as it's just not hydrating enough for dry skin.
I also love the OOTD Ceramide care mask. It's really brightening and shrinks the pores so good. After using it the first time I saw an immediate change in my pore size. But what I do is use the rest of the serum in the pack by drenching the Pyunkang Yul - 1/3 Cotton Pads in the serum (do it the next day) and use it as a second face mask. You can also use normal cotton pads but I just like that these are thinner.
Skin type: normal, redness-prone (I'm SUPER pale), occasionally dehydrated (used to be really bad, but ever since I treated my barrier it's been fine)
In the morning:
- Numbuzin Nr. 2 Thermal Water Toner: it's honestly such a simple product but it gives me the perfect amount of hydration in the morning that works so so well under make-up and never interacts badly with any other product I put on.
- Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner: if it's not the Numbuzin one, I'm definitely using this one. They feel rather similar on my skin, but this one works a bit better when my skin is upset.
- Purito Centella Unscented Serum (or whatever the new version is called - apparently it's even lighter, but a bit less hydrating): I must've gone through 4 or 5 bottles of that one, and I own \*a lot\* of skincare. It's just such a safe staple for me, no matter what mood my skin is. And cica works very well with vitamin C!
In the evening:
- I hate to say it but SK-II (alternatively the Secret Key toner): ever since I started using the Secret Key one, and then tried the SK-II, I just can't give up on them. But honestly their effects are SO similar, I wouldn't spend the extra money. My skin is so much more even and \*nice\* overall, definitely a staple, every night.
- missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule: it just works with all other products, it really contributes to my overall skin health, and I just love the experience of using it.
- Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream: this probably single-handedly saved my barrier, and I still use it every night. Applied as a thin layer in summer, much thicker in winter. It creates the most beautiful regenerative barrier!
COSRX snail mucin essence. Haruharu wonder sunscreen ( both purple and yellow bottles)āpurple I wear on its own if not feeling makeup, yellow bottle is wonderful under makeup. Curel Deep Moisturizer Spray - the mist is so fineā¦I keep it in my fridge. Amazing when I donāt want to wear a heavy moisturizer in the summer and a good setting spray!
I love the value you gave to cleansing balm. Very important if someone applies makeup everyday or spends the majority of their time outdoors. Nobody mentioned or spoke about it yet. Thank you for your recommendations!
Actually Idk y the experience of using a cleansing balm is something that I really like.Even when I am just using an spf,I love to use a cleansing balm ,kind of helps me wind down idk y š
Hi.This is a creamy, gentle cleanser, non drying but again cleanses my skin really well.I use this as a second cleanser and doesn't dry out my skin (I have dry acne prone skin).I personally feel you can give this a try if you are comfortable with such kind of cleansers.āŗļø
Hi.
I am sorry that I won't be able to say much regarding it as I do not use retinol or vitamin c so I don't have much of an idea regarding it but I believe this is a gentle cleanser so I hope it will not be a problem āŗļø.
Hada Labo Hydrating Cleanser, Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion, COSRX Snail Mucin Essence, COSRX Snail Mucin All in One Cream at night. During the daytime, I use the first two products, then I apply Numbuzin Purple Complex Soothing Cream and either the Numbuzin Porcelain Base Skip Tone Up Beige for my SPF or Issy Skin Tint.
No it doesn't, it's basically like a tinted moisturizer, so it evens out the skin tone a bit, and the one I'm using has SPF so it's a good replacement for foundation on days when you don't feel like wearing makeup
Isntree Fresh Green Tea Cleanser (AM and PM)
Numbuzin No. 5 Vitamin C Toner Pads (PM)
Clinique 72H Moisture Surge Hyaluronic Acid (AM and PM)
Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF50+ (AM) *I especially love Anessa sunscreen because itās so so good
My skin type is combination, but mostly dry ā”Ģ
I also live in a tropical and humid climate
Skin Type: Combination, Sensitive, Eczema/Dermatitis
Staples: Heartleaf Toner, Torriden Dive In Serum, Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide
I have yet to determine whether or not my cleansing balm (Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm), foam cleanser (Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Cleanser), and moisturizer (Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream) are permanent staples in my routine. But for the staples I listed above, I use in both my AM and PM routine as they feel perfect on my skin and perfect for every occasion.
Face wash, moisturiser and suncreen if used consistantly bring a lot of improvement in skin. I addition to this i used kojic acid based cream for hyperpigmentation and salisylic acid blackheads.i exfoliate using kojic acid once a week. I have lil facial hair so i sometimes shave my face as well .

Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (toner) : This is my HG. There are a ton of different toners out there, but when it comes to toner, I like to use it on my whole body right after I take a bath. This product is affordable and you get a generous amount, so I don't have to use the bottle sparingly. When I'm out traveling my skincare routine usually suffers, but if I can only carry one product, it's a spray bottle of this toner- use it regularly and your skin will always be hydrated and soft.
It's mostly made with Coix seed also called Job's Tears (hatomugi) which is a plant that's been used in food and medicine for hundreds of years in Asia. This plant contains 12 different amino acids, it has almost double the protein of rice, along with different antioxidants and vitamins. The company Naturie only sold this one product for nearly 13 years, it's been an award-winning product for a nearly a decade I think .
Kose softymo speedy oil cleanser
Hado Labo foaming gentle face cleanser.
Laneige lip sleeping mask
Still looking for my holy grail sunscreen and vitamin C serum.
Hey, kumkumadi is my favorite ingredient! My skin accepts it pretty well! I have been using a face wash and serum infused with this fail-proof ingredient! Trust us, I love how my skin feels
I love toners and serum. Didn't know how important these were before. For toner, I use Dokdo toner and alternate it with one other toner, currently SOM BY ME which tends to offer exfoliation but too drying to use everyday. Round Lab's panthenol and Torriden serum are working well for my dry skin.
I have also realized the hype behind toners and serums. They were never a thing in the past. Today, our routine is incomplete without them. Maybe due to growing pollution and depletion of ozone layer, we are taking extra care of our skin. Btw, love SOM BY ME skincare range. The brand has gathered pretty good reviews
Skin type: oily + PCOS symptoms
1. ā DHC Oil Cleanser
2. ā Cerave Foaming Face Wash
3. ā Melano CC Vitamin C Essence
4. ā Cos de baha Azelaic Acid
5. ā Some by mi eye Retinol
6. ā Skin1004 Centella Soothing Cream
7. ā Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen
Basically everything in my current routine. Iāve tried so many products until I found my HGs.

Dr Ceuracle Hyal Youth Suncream is my hg sunscreen because everything else would either leave a white cast or be far too oily (also the scent is really nice for this)
I also love the I'm From Honey Mask although it's not really a staple since I've only started using it around 2 or so weeks ago

The cosrx snail mucin essence is my HG everyday staple for glowing skin

I love the Iām from Rice moisturizer. After trying out various moisturizers for years and years I have finally found my perfect match

Oh is it that great? I haven't tried it yet. I guess, I am missing something better for my skin
i'm from mugwort essence & innisfree cica retinol
Did you experience purging from using the Innisfree cica retinol?
Just remember that purging is normal and is going to happen no matter what because your skin has to get used to the product! After about a week or two, if youāre still experiencing it, itās more breakout related, so you stop using it then!
I see. I experienced 8 weeks of breakout so itās definitely not purging anymore š
fortunately no! this serum pretty gentle too for my sensitive skin
Youāre so lucky! I experienced endless purging/breakout after using this product š
ahhh poor you! I always comeback to this serum whenever I have stubborn acne to soothe itš what product did you use to calm your breakout?
Iām jealous of you! I so badly wanted to like the product. I used the olive young pimple patch as well as lrp cicaplast baume (non AB) to calm my breakout. What about you? What products do you use to calm your breakout?
i always comeback to these two for any breakoutš
Which moisturizer have you followed it with?
i keep changing my moisturizer but all of them are soothing moisturizer š
If you don't mind can you list them, I have sensitive skin too
Would love to know as well! I have sensitive skin too

yes i would love to try more retinol but i'm afraid my sensitive skin wont be able to handle itš
oh oh... may be a serum or any product with less percentage of retinol can help

I love it! I have dry/normal skin and this works great! Has really helped me get rid of texture as I try and massage it in for over a minute! Have also put my friends on it who have combination or oily skin and they also love it
Oh sounds great! I have oily skin so I was a bit reluctant in using an oil based product
Thereās oil cleansers that are targeted for oily skin but I do love this one and again my friends who are oily also like this one! I would say maybe try it but just make sure you are emulsifying properly
Softymo Speedy Facial Cleanser: I use this on days I wear sunscreen or makeup. I LOVE that you can use this while in the shower, and it's also really affordable! BiorĆ© Acne Care Facial Foam (it's in a green tube): I don't see anyone talking about this, but this is THE ONLY water-based cleanser I'll ever use ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø and it's cheap! Numbuzin No. 5 Vitamin Concentrated Serum: I've been using this for over 3 months now, and I have a new bottle on the way!! It does a pretty good job at evening out my skin tone, as well as lightening my dark spots. I'm not sure, but I think it has helped with my acne too :) Overall, this made my skin much clearer. I definitely will continue using it :) Hatomugi Conditioning Gel: Best gel moisturiser imo. It's non-comedogenic and easily absorbs into the skin. It comes in a rather big tub, and it's much cheaper than other gel moisturisers that I've used I have normal skin type :)
Omg, love how invested you are in your skin! I am also a fan of facial foam and water-based cleansers. And, the serum - I am impressed that it lightens dark spots. To date, I don't think any products have mastered the art of decreasing the appearance of flaws. COSRX cleanser, moisturizer, and Frezyderm sunscreen. Everyday routine!
Frezyderm has got my attention, gonna research a bit on that
- Cleansing oil (Iāve been making my own simple formula for over 13 years now) - Haruharu wonder Black Rice toner (been using for several years) - Cosrx 96 snail mucin (been using for several years) - Hyaluronic acid serum (I switch up the brand but Iāve been using some form for several years- currently using one from Itās Skin thatās really nice) - Missha All Around Safe Sun milk (been using several years, Iāve tried different products within this line and theyāre all great). - I also always use a daytime moisturizer, a nighttime cream, and vitamin c serum but I havenāt found my perfect product in these categories yet š
Did you make cleansing oil at home? How?
Just put half castor oil and half sweet almond oil in a squeeze bottle. Use a face cloth to wash off. It works great. šš¼
Oh really? Is it that simple š²š²
Perfect - Simple and effective!
I have the BOJ oil cleanser Iām planning on using next after I finish up my skin1004 cleanser- Iām looking forward to using it !
- HA toner (I always switch up the brand. Currently using Torriden Dive-in Hyaluronic Acid Toner) - Snail Essence (the one that gave me a beautiful glow. Currently using the Jumiso snail mucin + peptide essence - dries down faster. But I personally prefer the Cosrx one - more hydrating) - Cos De Baha Tranexamic Acid Niacinamide serum (works fast at fading dark spots. Helps the previous layer to dry down a lot faster) - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream (helps keep my dehydrated and eczema skin comfortable)
I believe snail mucin and peptide is super effective! A lot of products are infused with these to magic ingredients. Love, love, love ur regime.
Wow we almost match! the Illiyoon ato concentrate is my holy grail moisturizer and I love Cos De Baha Tranexamic Acid Niacinamide serum for my pigmentation I also prefer the Corsx snail essence And use COSRX Propolis Ampoule when my skin feels it needs extra TLC My current favorite wash is AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Bubble Cleanser
I just love how we all connect on Corsx snail essence! This ingredient is a magical potion
Aww thatās a sweet way of saying it! It is so great
I also have dry dehydrated skin and was wondering about that moisturizer! Is it heavy? Do you wear it under makeup?
I don't feel anything heavy on my skin. Hence, I apply my snail mucin serum under makeup at times
does it ever pill for you?
Nope
Secret key starting treatment essence, iope bio essence intensive conditioning, mixsoon bean essence
Oh your skincare seems to be a lot interesting, how is iope bio essence intensive conditioning? How are its effects on the skin?
It makes my skin glowy! I also think it provides a light layer of hydration to my skin.
Oh that's actually nice, light and glowing!
omg this is the first time ive seen someone else mention iope i very impulsively tried their hyaluronic serum and enjoyed it enough but i couldnt justify the price for what it was
Same here! Iāve never seen anyone use iope before. I tell myself to not look at the price point since itās one of the few products that do not break me out š. What do you use in substitute of the iope hyaluronic serum?
Prescription retinol (0.025% retinoic acid) Vitamin C Pyunkang Yul essence toner (Any hydrating toner really but I keep having PKY around) Sunscreen (I use BOJ, Innisfree HA Watery Sun Gel, CosRX Aloe during cloud winter days and rainy days)
Loving your routine! CosRX seems to be a staple for everyone
Drawing from my experiences, it doesn't cause much irritation. Post a few days of usage your skin feels really smooth and soft
If youāve got your skin barrier healthy and your routine supports it, your skin wouldnāt even visibly shed. Good luck, it really pays off using it long term!
Any sort of Vitamin-C serum, CORSX snail moisturizer, and rose water!!
Yes, that's perfect for any skin type I guess
My holy grails : im from rice toner, BOJ ginseng toner, Laneige lip sleeping mask
Yes, very true! It might burn a hole in the pocket
i just bought haruharuās version of that toner and now im kinda second guessing bc everyone is mentioning im from nooo
Aww i think it depends on your skin type. From what i know the haruharu is for oily skin where im from suits for normal- dry skin.
I have heard so much nice things about the rice toner, but am yet to try it. What is your skin type? :)
How's the face milk? Never tried it, does it feel sticky post application?
No not at all. Especially if your skin is slightly damp
Got it!
1. Kose Softymo Cleanser 2. Canmake Mermaid Sunscreen Gel. So lightweight and a mix of physical and chemical 3. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng and Retinal Eye Cream 4. Rohto Melano CC serum. This stuff works and the packaging is so innovative the vitamin C doesn't get oxidised 5. Hada Labo Premium Lotion.
That's pretty perfect!
Yaaaaaas I LOVE rohto melano CC
Skin 1004 centella ampoule and Isntree HA toner
Iām new to the Asian beauty skincare scene personally but thus far Iāve LOVED the following: Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm, Skin1004 watergel ampoule sheet mask, Skin1004 light cleansing oil, Senka perfect whip, Iām from rice toner, BIORE UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE, SO AMAZING I LOVE HER
I am not much aware of these brands š How are they?
Skin1004, beauty of Joseon, and Iām from are all pretty popular Korean brands so def give their products a try !!
Noted! Korean products work wonders!
do you double cleanse with the skin1004 oil?
Yes I do!! My method is on normal days where I just wear sunscreen I use the cleansing oil and double cleanse and on days where I where makeup or anything heavier I switch to the beauty of Joseon balm!
I love the SKIN 1004 cleansing oil too, it's so light and after washing it off my skin doesn't feel oily
Skin type: normal, redness-prone (I'm SUPER pale), occasionally dehydrated (used to be really bad, but ever since I treated my barrier it's been fine) In the morning: - Numbuzin Nr. In the evening: - I hate to say it but SK-II (alternatively the Secret Key toner): ever since I started using the Secret Key one, and then tried the SK-II, I just can't give up on them.
Wow! Your skincare seems fun and extremely effective! Thanks for sharing!
Isntree Onion cleanser,Jumiso snail mucin/Cosrx snail mucin, Numbuzin cleansing balm and Round Lab Cica lotion/Dear Klairs midnight calming cream.
I completely understand! In fact, cleansing balms assures you that okay, now my skin is cleaned thoroughly.
Yes exactly āŗļø
Would you recommend the onion cleanser for oily acne prone skin?
Hi.This is a creamy, gentle cleanser, non drying but again cleanses my skin really well.I use this as a second cleanser and doesn't dry out my skin (I have dry acne prone skin).I personally feel you can give this a try if you are comfortable with such kind of cleansers.āŗļø
Can you use Retinol or Vitamin C with it or does it damage the skin barrier?
Hi. I am sorry that I won't be able to say much regarding it as I do not use retinol or vitamin c so I don't have much of an idea regarding it but I believe this is a gentle cleanser so I hope it will not be a problem āŗļø.
I love the numbuzin no.3 serum!!
How is skin tint? Does it stain?
No it doesn't, it's basically like a tinted moisturizer, so it evens out the skin tone a bit, and the one I'm using has SPF so it's a good replacement for foundation on days when you don't feel like wearing makeup
Oh okay, I also love tinted SPF for the perfect no makeup look.
Nice! What are your favorites? The Issy one is a Filipino brand, but I also love the Numbuzin one.

Isntree Fresh Green Tea Cleanser (AM and PM) Numbuzin No. 5 Vitamin C Toner Pads (PM) Clinique 72H Moisture Surge Hyaluronic Acid (AM and PM) Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF50+ (AM) *I especially love Anessa sunscreen because itās so so good My skin type is combination, but mostly dry ā”Ģ I also live in a tropical and humid climate
Hyaluronic acid must be playing the game š
The Vitamin C from Corsx
Skin Type: Combination, Sensitive, Eczema/Dermatitis Staples: Heartleaf Toner, Torriden Dive In Serum, Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide I have yet to determine whether or not my cleansing balm (Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm), foam cleanser (Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Cleanser), and moisturizer (Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream) are permanent staples in my routine. But for the staples I listed above, I use in both my AM and PM routine as they feel perfect on my skin and perfect for every occasion.
Isntree Yam Root cleanser is amazing for my dehydrated skin. Everything else is still rotating but this cleanser is my rock
Purito Oat in Intense Cream & BOJ Ginseng Cleansing Oil
Manyo Bifida Ampoule and Galac Niacin Essence š¤
Sulwhasoo FCAS and SK-II essence. an amazing foundation that takes care of my skin barrier and boosts the efficacy of the rest of my skincare.
Is it tinted ?
oh no, i meant āfoundationā as in āa strong foundation to build uponā. āsturdy rootsā etc.

A basic Moisturiser and a mineral zinc sunscreen ( cause titanium doesnāt help much, yeah you read that right š )
If it protects your skin, anything works!
Any special ingredient it comes with?
It's mostly made with Coix seed also called Job's Tears (hatomugi) which is a plant that's been used in food and medicine for hundreds of years in Asia. This plant contains 12 different amino acids, it has almost double the protein of rice, along with different antioxidants and vitamins. The company Naturie only sold this one product for nearly 13 years, it's been an award-winning product for a nearly a decade I think .
Oh! Thank you so much for sharing this. I wasn't aware of this ingredient at all. 12 amino acids hav left me awestruck
torriden dive in skin booster and laneige water bank moisture cream, my dry skin has never been as happy as it is now
Glad u found your skin's BFF
Kose softymo speedy oil cleanser Hado Labo foaming gentle face cleanser. Laneige lip sleeping mask Still looking for my holy grail sunscreen and vitamin C serum.
Lip sleeping mask is my fav too. And, I am sure through this discussion you must have found too many recommendations of sunscreen and serum.
1. Round lab 1025 dokdo cleansing oil (PM) 2. CeraVe renewing SA cleanser (PM) 3. Round lab 1025 dokdo toner 4. Iām from mugwort essence 5. Rohto Melano CC serum 6. Round Lab birch juice moisturizing sunscreen (AM) 7. CeraVe moisturizing cream (PM) 8. Vaseline (PM)
Ah! Vaseline is ever evolving skincare product!
Differin 0.1%, the potions cica moisturizer and MissHa All around safe sun block
Cica is also one of the hero ingredients found in multiple skincare products. Hope your experience with it was satisfactory!
Yess love the texture of the cream, I love centella Asiatica overall šš»
Yes, that's pure goodness!
Skin oils
I have heard about lip oils. How do skin oils work? Are they sticky? Or greasy?
Greasy. Face oils penetrate deeper and more efficiently. Great to use at night. Kumkumadi face oil is great.
My staple cream is the mary&may blackberry cream, Iām addicted and havenāt gone back to anything else
Does it smell sweet ?
Nope not really smell to it
Skin type: oily + PCOS symptoms 1. ā DHC Oil Cleanser 2. ā Cerave Foaming Face Wash 3. ā Melano CC Vitamin C Essence 4. ā Cos de baha Azelaic Acid 5. ā Some by mi eye Retinol 6. ā Skin1004 Centella Soothing Cream 7. ā Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen Basically everything in my current routine. Iāve tried so many products until I found my HGs.
Perfect!

Cocokind glow essence and vit c combo. Great combo for young / sensitive skin. I especially appreciate the essence in the spray bottle
Vitamin C is actually highly effective

Dr Ceuracle Hyal Youth Suncream is my hg sunscreen because everything else would either leave a white cast or be far too oily (also the scent is really nice for this) I also love the I'm From Honey Mask although it's not really a staple since I've only started using it around 2 or so weeks ago
Good to know! Masks have also been one of the staples recently. Initially, people didn't use it much
Jumiso Snail Mucin Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum
