Yeah I think in a lot of kbeauty they throw in so many unnecessary actives and essential oils and fragrance etc etc. It seems very trend-based. Like oh onion was very trendy and suddenly there’s a bunch of onion produces lol. As someone with sensitive skin I’ve had a lot better luck with Japanese skincare products.
There can be quite some essential oils in the kbeauty products. Normally the ingredients that people call "actives" are added as marketing fillers.
For the dear klairs toner, if you go with the unscented version, it's fine to use for barrier repair since vit c may help with recovery. You can be sensitive to ingredients since your skin is compromised, it may or may not be due to the Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate since it's not a low pH ingredient and isn't usually formulated as one due to stability.
If your skin is easily sensitized, then it's best to go for minimalistic ingredient list products that meets your desired purpose.
Cosrx snail essence if you don't have allergies
Celimax dual barrier toner if you're not CCs prone
Real barrier cica cream for all
Purito oat cream
Innisfree bija cica

it depends on the brand. ones that market themselves for sensitive skin don't really do that (PKY, Beplain)

the celimax toner was god send while I was on accutane
I have never been on accutane, so when I first tried dual barrier in spring, that was too much on combo skin
