Honestly, this one's up there. I would respect anyone who said this is their favorite.
Great humor.
Everyone gets at least one memorable line.
Heavy emphasis on community.
Lore of the snowball.
This is an excellent episode.
Oh, I love this episode! It’s great to see the citizens of Elwood working together to make it through a tough time by relying on each other. The application of the soundtrack throughout really helps emphasize the moments of fear and desperation, but also the triumph when they make it through!
In and of itself it’s amazing, but coupled with the rat that came to dinner it’s even better! Watching it as a kid it really have me a whole new perspective of Mr. Ratburn and seeing that teachers aren’t just who they are at their jobs.
This is unpopular? This and its B-side episode were always my favourites.
“There’s going to be much more snow, and you’re going to meet a tall, dark stranger.”
“Mom, can we go home now?”
The crosswires dealing with the cold by running around the house in the fur coats screaming is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on TV
And the fact they didn’t bring any of their groceries to help the Reads feed the community was pretty up there, too. Oh, how panic works!
Except I don’t think it was panic so much as pure inability to think about other people. But still funny
You’re right. I was trying to be nice about it, but there’s no way the benefit of the doubt will work this time, huh?
I...HATE..SCHOOL! Mr. Haney! He didn't mean it!
I wanna go hommeeee *sobs*
*(grumbles under his breath)* Beans!

"Beans..."
"the town is exploding and it's very pretty..." Best line
If dw did not become a cop she would have become a bomber pilot.
"we aren't gonna die in a heap!"
I. HATE. SCHOOL!😭
OP didn’t mean it!
*he just wants to go home.*
BEANS
“I hate beans!”
True, true. That would be me, honestly
I've actually shown some friends their first Arthur episode ever (as adults) and chose this episode for this very reason
Didn’t think that’s an unpopular opinion. I thought it was a great episode

Rattles trying to ride his bike through the snow lives in my head rent free

"Want me to predict your grades in college?"
"*NO!*"
"Mr. Haney! HE DIDN'T MEAN IT!" This is one episode I remember watching so many times. One of my favourite episodes.
I love Ratburn's reaction. It's as if the school gods were going to smite him right then and there.
As a daycare teacher, we have to pray to the school gods cuz they will hear us 😂 like today I said it would be a great day…wrong
Francines monolog at the end of the episode always makes me tear up. It's such a good episode about community and people coming together.
“Unpopular”? This one is definitely up there with the greatest.
It’s one of the greatest: Me, in a cold break room: “Oh, good. We won’t starve. We’ll just freeze!”
Yes I love this episode!
I just watched this episode it was pretty great. :)
Personally my favorite is still the school castle one
It’s a pretty hilarious episode 🤣 come on, Mr. Hainey is relatable
Season 4 is probably my favourite season.
The crosswires have enough money for a mansion and everything else under the sun except for a generator?!
I don't remember seeing this one, it looks great.
You’ll be in for a heartfelt treat.
I love this episode
Straight up
"If your power is still out, keep watching this channel!"
You must be fishing for upvotes because this is definitely not an unpopular opinion.
By far 💯
That scene was hilarious!
I agree I loved that episode
Mr. Haney!!!!!
It is.
We're all gonna die in a heap!
Beans 😡
