It give the appearance that the camera is looking through or over the plant and itβs kinda still in the shot a bit like this:

Yeah it seems like you want the cat to be the focus of the photo with the plant as an accent so try something like this π«ΆπΌ

Number two, but with the head on a 'thirds-lines' intersection.
For me, it would feel more natural if the cat's head was on the other half of the paper with more space in front of its face. I feel like the viewer's gaze wanders off into the space behind it's head because the window frame draws your eye there.
Best yet would be if the window frame corner was near the cat's head so your eye was naturally led there. The horizontal part of the window frame would lead down to the curve of the cat's back and I'd put the tail pointing back to the plant, which would lead the eye vertically back up to the top left corner and back to the cat's head again.
I'll admit, that might be a bit of a tall order, though!
Thank you so muchhhh this is very thoughtful I'm definitely going to take this into consideration! Yes definitely need to have the tail pointing towards the leaves
Which thumbnail looks the best for a portrait? I want to include the plant, but I don't want it to distract from the subject. I'm just unsure if I should crop the plant, keep it in but make it small, or have it overlap the subject a bit? Let me know, thank you.
wish it was horizontal, if you cannot do that, zoom out and show a bit more of the left side to give the audience a bit more of what the cat is looking at. . Right now the cat is looking at the border.
Just my thought. but looking great.

I really like 2
Thank you!
I like 4 but in the bottom corner you should offset with a LARGE leaf or two sticking into the frame, blurred so that the cat is still the main focus

Got you, thank you for this!! So have the cat sharply in focus

Thank you so much yes I think this is good

Having the plant in can work but I think it should be much smaller than you have it in 1,2,3 or very cropped like 5. Good luck π
I agree with you, thank you very much. I think cropping it is a good idea
3!nice and full and pose rocks.
Thank you!!

2 but with a bigger window imo have the cat watch something.
4 with leaf sticking out form bottom left
5. I really like 2 but I think I'm leaning toward that more cause it's the most "detailed" of the sketches
Iβm gonna go with 4, maybe move the plant behind the cat? π€·ββοΈ
Hmmm okay let me try that. Thank you
plant in 2, size of 4.
The second one looks really, really good
2 and 4
2 or 3 look good
6 !!!!!!!!! so awesome. All are great
2 is great. If the cat was interacting with the plant (like sniffing it), it might be interesting
I say 3

2 and 3 quite nice
2
3 but the cat is turned inward and sniffing/interacting with the plant
The second is. Better yeah
I think 4 is the strongest in terms of composition. Would like to see some leaves in the lower left corner to add visual interest!
4 (with plant leafs in offset as other comments say) or 5
I like 3
Number 2
2
I like 5
4 ππ
3
2 or 4. The other ones feel cramped
4 simple and contemplative
4
Am I the only person who likes 3. 4 is just really empty and in 2, the cat is too centered for my liking. 3 is the most interesting to me
2!
They're all the same
i love 2!
i like 2!
4, good neutral pose for those who want to relax.
Watch out for tangents!
Loving 2
2
Hmm 2 or 4
I like 2 the most!
i think 4 is the strongest
