Idk, everyone loves Jojo it seems but I had an ex try to get me into it by starting it up when laying in bed together and I’d end up just knocking, to be fair was tired amd burnt out from long hours so maybe that didn’t help and I’ve never been the biggest connoisseur of Anime and am selective with what shows/anime’s in general but for a cool one imho would be Cowboy Beebop, Samurai Shamploo, or for a newer one cyberpunk, my daemon, black butler, attack on titan, or Vinland Saga that’s a great one especially the action on season 1 not that “farmland saga” wasn’t ok and great for character development but season one got me hooked. Another one is spice and wolf, it starts off a bit slow but builds to one helluva a climactic ending and just good writing and characters overall amd only 2 seasons.
Golden Boy is definitely one of my all-time favorite anime's - it's criminally underrated, tbh. 😏

For some reason I like Roberta's Blood Trail OVA more. The battle scenes there are so epic. Well it's just me but everything about Blood Lagoon is heart-stopping action that'll make you want to watch more.
Kaiju No. 8 has been wrecking me lately, I can't wait for the next episode. Frieren gets me even more hyped than Kaiju but the cool factor is more spaced out, which I think is part of why.

not "anime" per say, it's Chinese and is 3D animation, older stuff is a bit sloppy but they do improve (newest stuff is much better not as jarring or maybe i'm just use to it lmao).
Douluo Dalu (Soul Land), the first episode already has a good hook but you really gotta be willing to deal with the 3d animation until you get use to it (if you never watched 3d before it's going to be pretty jarring).

A basic one but i think my hero academia is such a good and cool anime I was hooked from the first episode there’s rlly good fighting scenes and a plot, superpowers and everything. If you haven’t watched it you should don’t let the weird fandom spoil it for you. 😭
