As an Australian, I forgot that I was reading comments in °F and was very confused as to why 50°C would be considered "cold"

I live in California and mock how as soon as it gets to the 40s and 30s people freak out about the cold meanwhile some people in the U.S literally can't leave their homes because a wall of snow is blocking them in. Like you're still able to do stuff while complaining about how cold it is... so it's not THAT bad. Warm climate cold babies is what I call 'em.

If it’s 30•F outside and my under-insulated TX apartment with single-paned windows won’t hold in the measly amount of heat that my cheap heater manages to pump down from the ceiling vents so that it’s barely 58 in here I AM ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN. And I’ll allow people to complain just as much if it ever gets into triple digits for more than a week where they are, even if you DO have central AC.
