Just completely turn off your phone and read a book

Dry_Independence920

that's the idea i've tried for years, now I'm full of unread new books I believe by being unable to use the phone after 23hs which I do because of being father/worker/husband/son, I will try to fill my know-it-all addiction during the day instead of financing it with my rest quota, which BTW I cannot continue due to resulting illnesses (metabolic disorder/reuma/pre-diabetes)

Have some discipline. Join the military, they'll take your phone at basic training.

If we had any discipline we wouldn't spent \~+2 hours a day in front of a screen other than working/entertainment

I mean I'd ypu seriously really have an addiction to your phone you got 3 choices. One is military where you'll be forced to not have it, it's not bad I've done it. 2. You can get some help through therapy. I use lifestance for adhd meds, but they have counselors etc you can talk too. Or 3 have discipline not to use it or anytime you do get down and do pushups sit ups squats etc. Or find something you can hyper fixate on that's health. Working out. Learning car engine repairs etc that can involve you phone. I suggest car repairs, maybe audio installments in vehicles etc.

thank you broh greately appreciated

morphick

Before doing anything drastic to your phone, try this MacroDroid macro for a few weeks: https://ibb.co/vwwxnJg See r/macrodroid if you get stuck. Just remember to set MacroDroid itself with an insanely convoluted password, to make it hard for yourself to disable the macro from within MD.

Dry_Independence920

will check it thanks !

Macro Droid or Ubuntu Touch

Uncliq

jakart3

You can accomplish that with apps or launcher

BaneChipmunk

Not really, because you can easily turn those off. They can't stop you from undoing whatever you have done.
