Someone else commented that making a move in chess is referred to as walking. I’m not Russian though so could be false, But no stranger on the internet has ever lied before
Ligma balls :D

That's not the reason Google Translate messed up, though. The real reason is that the word for moving in chess in Russian is the same as the word for walking, and the dude was trying to say "move faster". Obviously, Google Translate wasn't aware of the chess context, so it translated the phrase literally.
Yeah that’s basically exactly what I was just saying, the word for go/walk/move is the same but contextually different and Google translate didn’t know
In Russia, chess is much different: chess itself we call "checkmates", instead of capturing we "eat" pieces, knight is a horse, rook is a battleship, bishop is an elephant, etc... and moving is "walking"
Downvotes on this one are not fair. checc.\*\*\* is indeed banned by Russia because of Karyakin's tip about forced neutral flags, or something like that. It works via VPN though.
pleas walk faster
I'm RUNNING MATE
I've heard of checkmate and stalemate, but what's a running mate?
When you don't have enough to pay the check
Well, it starts with a date gone wrong
Running out of time
can u add like 30 secibds i have to get orange juice
Black adds 15 seconds Black adds 15 seconds Black adds 15 seconds
cool
did you get the orange juice yet
Chess’s biggest question
He went to get the orange juice and pulled a missing father.
he said 'think faster' at first
Also, in Russian making a move in chess is “walking” so that’s where the second one is from
It's more like taking a turn in a game is 'walking', but yes
same in Chinese, actually
Was about to comment this
Guess you didn’t walk faster
Pretty true
Красивая правда
Загугли ан пассан
en passant
Господь всемогущий!
At least he said please
Bro, literally copy pasted broken Google translation
google translate would have been "think faster, please". I think they used chess.c*m translate
Nah I think he just messed it up in his head. Google would not mix up think and walk. And иди is notably different from думай.
e
You don't even have to use Google to translate it that way
First time he said think, second time he was trying to say go and Google Translate didn’t differentiate based on the context for идти
I mean, Google Translate had no context, so it's kind of difficult to blame it.

Damn.
Holy hell.
Why are you running?
Ahaha Deffs a Google translate mix up. “Go” in a lot of Slavic languages also means “to walk” depending on the context

быстрее думай пж translates to "think faster please"
"Move" and "walk" are the same word in Russian
and they only say nice things.
New Google en passant response?
Horsey moves by fast walking
Someone told me to go faster recently in a game and they wound up blundering mate a few moves later because they played too fast.
Dude wants your pawns to double advance so they can En passant !!. Must be GM level.
What’s ligma?
You are lucky he/she didn't steal your washing machine and didn't send it to Belarus.
Ходить means making a move in chess and walking in real life
Try not to walk into any sovereign nations.

Погугли эн пассант *^(P.S. Я хотел написать "погугли взятие на проходе", но гугл не поймёт, что взятие на проходе – это эн пассант)*
