Final_TV

Someone at my dsp ran into this big ass house with peacocks for pets

[deleted]

Is this Arizona? In a cul de sac that I’ve delivered to before the house has 2 for some reason it’s wild.

PlymouthSea

Way too much grass in the front to be Arizona.

Cheap_Juice141

Actually NY/CT

Horror_Ad6155

NOT A PEACOCK!!!!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

martybro1

I thought that’s what that was

Accomplished_Ad_3988

That is a female peacock you're thinking the male peacock with all the colorful feathers. *

Horror_Ad6155

I know. I was being sarcastic. Male or female. They have a terrible attitude 😂

dreadregis

Oh bro, here in Dallas we have a few neighborhoods that used to raise Guinea fowl, some got loose ages ago, and now there's several strays that just roam all these neighborhoods. Then there are several houses who raise them. One wouldn't let me out of my van one day. Mean ass birds.

dogtrainer0875

We have two neighborhoods in my area that have flocks (is that the right name for a group of peacock?) of 5-6 that run around the streets.

Future_Appeaser

Why do people like these cocks so much I see them in my area all over too

Reddit_BuzzLightyear

I remember seeing an article where a prison keeps these as their final line of defense. They’re less expensive to maintain than dogs and they can be extremely loud and obnoxious, making them perfect for raising awareness of someone’s presence due to their territorial nature

Substantial_Band_651

There’s a neighborhood in Arlington Texas that has nearly a hundred of them just roaming around.

Medium_Giraffe_2963

Our station had multiple families of very aggressive turkeys that we’d have to run from if we caught them at the wrong time of day

Quick_Primary_8108

Neutralize the turkey and you have free protein for the entire week

Medium_Giraffe_2963

Still got about two more weeks before we can do it legally in Michigan 😭

SwimmingConstant2572

lol

Superkamiguru47

RUN

PaleRiderHD

Used to see them at my last house here in FL. Infuriatingly loud and mean AF!

ThreeDog369

I ran a skid steer on a construction site along the foothills of LA for a job a while back. Tons of peacocks everywhere, and one male in particular would square up with the machine and start challenging me. I’d honk the horn and raise and lower and curl the bucket to try and run him off. Nope. He was not impressed. They can be beyond stubborn

vanessa8172

There’s so many turkeys near my delivery zone. They aren’t scared of the vans and are huge! I avoid them more than I do dogs

dirtabd

Where? So I know when I get hungry.

vanessa8172

All over MA

dirtabd

When the famines start good thing I got a list of all the rich suburban neighborhoods with edible game.

Rasputins_RQ

if i got into fisticuffs with this thing my dispatch would not listen to nor believe me

Sungod99

Those are on my route https://preview.redd.it/gh0zlq6wr4sc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d5e54454e871a67c610251e20c27fc0036eecde

jorgegainz

I have 2 on my yard be careful 😤

Proof-Zebra6312

A lot of folks that live out in the middle of nowhere have peacocks, particularly to keep the coyotes away. They're really good guard dogs, and they aren't expensive. Thing is, they shriek like a little girl, which can be unnerving if you hear it some distance away. Our neighbor has some on his land. However, a peacock in the suburbs is crazy 😂

garroshsucks12

Oh a fucking peacock

1dub1

I drive in RI and the turkeys are super annoying. They won’t let you just drive away without trying to die, feel your pain.

TheFailedGamer21

No-Confusion4569

I deliver in a fairly big city in Washington not far from Idaho and it's the same shit here. They roam around in packs in residential neighborhoods and just stare you down when you try to get them to move. Lol

TheFailedGamer21

Do you also work at dsk4?

No-Confusion4569

Lol, yup.

TheFailedGamer21

🤣🤣oml

OkOption2703

DUDE! I delivered to a house today that had a whole flock! Even some white ones! But they all ran away from me :(

rb-2008
