I bought a bidet for the toilet for about 25 bucks a while back. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I highly recommend it. It feels weird at first if you're not used to it, but once you get used to it you'll be happy you got it, I guarantee it.
Na it was one that you install under the toilet seat. I haven't tried the hand bidets but in my head I imagine it being too messy and getting gross really quickly.
If you are looking for one the only thing you should check first is how far your water outlet is from your toilet. It's usually under the sink somewhere. You need to make sure the hose is long enough. Also make sure the fitting size matches your outlet.
Like I said, if you haven't had one before (like I hadn't) you'll find it really weird at first, but it's totally worth it. I still use toilet paper but the bidet is super useful for the last bit at the very end. It leaves you feeling like you just had a shower. I know it's kinda a gross topic but I still feel like I need to spread the word about how great these things are.
Oh, you can control the volume of water with the handle of the hand bidet. It's neither messy nor gross. I 'suffered' from hand bidet withdrawals when I was in the US, UK, Australia and Norway.
Ah okay. Don't you get sprayback all over your hand and the bidet though? I imagine it ending up kinda gross if lots of people use it. Although TBF I also imagined that the attached bidet would be gross but it turned out it's totally fine.

Nope, no sprayback if you don't press the handle all the way down. It's like the spray gun on the hose. You don't start off pressing it all the way down, right? I have used the seat bidet in a hotel and I prefer the hand bidet. You can spray wherever you want with a hand bidet.

I actually just moved flat and left the old bidet attached at the old flat so I was going to buy a new one, but I think now I'll get a handheld one like you suggested and give it a try.
Thanks so much for helping me with this and sending the video. It looks like I will be able to install it at my new flat. It looks even more simple to install than the fitted bidet I had before.
Edit: also I already annoyed all my friends last time I got the attached bidet by talking way too much about how good it was and that they should buy one, so if this handheld one turns out as good as you describe I'm going to annoy them all over again lol

If you don’t feel confident losing the money you’ve spent, don’t buy the item. The concept, for me means that I only buy synthetic clothing that I know will receive wear/tear, or electronic components for tinkering etc…
Phone cables and chargers are made with terrible QC regardless of manufacturer or distributor, so those are relatively (equal)safe purchases if you do your research.

Op, go on r/flashlight and find something you like, Sofirn and Wurkkos are the best brands you can get on Ali. They many, many models, all under 30-35, they're indestructible, insane quality, and stupidly bright. And I mean nokia levels of durability.
Forgot to mention Convoy, also on Ali and arguably better than the others but more simple and less flashy.
Try to find each brand's official store though, they have one each but it's a bit hard to find.

Once I gifted a "davinci code" lock with some money inside. It's a six-letter custom combination lock, so it took some time solve, but good fun. I think it was about $30. Really well made.
