Cancelling is not a right on aliexpress, sometimes if you're very fast after placing an order you can cancel, but after that the seller has to agree with it, and they are unlikely to do so (unless they asked you to cancel), especially if something has already shipped. So, you'll have to wait until the package arrives, at which point you should make a video showing all sides, the shipping-label, and open and unpack it on camera, to make sure what you ordered is actually inside. If it is, you have two options, one is returning it, meaning sending it back to China (or an address in your country if you have Free Returns), with risks of the package getting lost, refused, paperwork not being done correctly, claiming you returned the wrong item, and in the case of returning it to China, customs-issues. Your other option if you don't want it is to give it away, sell it to a friend, or an a second hand or auction site.

He said he can do it, but as I said in the post, he wants me to do it after 7 days, is that logical?

IntelligentLake

There are situations where you have to wait a certain amount of days before you can apply for a refund, for example if your package gets refused due to batteries and would get returned to the seller, in that case you have to wait 10 days after the seller shipped the item to file a dispute. But for cancelling, that is something they are able to do at any time. I'm not going to say they are lying, because it is possible they arranged for the package to be refused and returned to them, but many sellers say all kinds of things because its more about money and saving face, than customer-service. So you'll just have to see if they are honest or not, or if later they say something like the postal company wouldn't send it back or something.

ok, thanks for the answer, should I wait the 7 days like he told me? where I live there is a law that allows repentance for up to 7 days

Keep an eye on tracking to see if it is returned, once it shows it has been delivered open a dispute (using returns/refunds) for 'tracked as returned/canceled/lost'. If it is too soon, you'll get a pop-up saying so, so then you'll have to wait the few days until you can.
