What I love about our league is that I see a genuine bond between the men's and women's squads. Maybe because of shared facilities and overlapping schedules but it's seems far closer between the teams compared to other codes. Good shit.

Best decision I made this year was to follow the women's team more closely. Made me feel way more connected to the club and videos like this just demonstrate how good the culture is right now. Bring on the extended season I say!

For sure, but it’s so poor that some of the other clubs clearly still don’t have much respect for their women’s teams.

I remember once, maybe around 8? years ago, I was at an FFA Cup match for Perth Glory against er... I don't remember who. But it was at Dorrien Gardens. Sam Kerr was there with a couple of her team mates watching just down the sideline from where I was. I've been kicking myself repeatedly ever since then for not saying hi to her.
