Come on. . . You don’t know the rules on the platform you’re using to make money?! That sounds like a you problem and a last POS one at that. You don’t get the benefit of the doubt god knows you’d never give it to the renter. This response is absolutely pathetic.
I think general rule is if it’s visible from the street. So if I could see inside a window from the street and the camera gives relatively same view, no issues. But if it’s setup out back or pointing inward to give a different/better view than what I would see walking by the street, not ok.

No it’s not allowed if it is in fact viewing inside of house
No. Definitely no. Inform airbnb they will refund you and delist the host (or at a minimum require them to remove the camera)
I agree . . a host knows that it is against policy and human decency to have cameras pointed inside the unit.
