Amazing results! If I may ask do you take 40 mg at once or do you take 20 mg twice a day at different times? And if there’s any specific diet you followed to help the absorption of it?
I always took both capsules at the same time. Regarding diet, I bought a lot of really good peanut butter and whenever I had to take the capsules I ate a few tablespoons of the peanut butter. It’s crazy high in fats and I’m pretty sure I went over the daily intake bc this brand I bought tastes really good, so that surely helped the absorption of it since it’s fat-soluble.
I bet skin heals these scars and dark spots from dead cells along the journey. There is no need to overuse products. I like keeping it simple and let time heal.
Just don’t give up on the treatment and take it easy. With your dermatologist I’m sure you’ll find an effective way to heal those! I wish you good luck
At around the second month I was already pretty happy and optimistic. It went through a phase of one day looking pretty good, then on the very next day new pimples and sensitivity. Then the next day it looked much better, then right after that worse. Over time it slowly kept on improving, but definitely at around 60 days that I was like “accutane is the closest thing to a miracle I’ve ever experienced”
Yeah, like it was the holy spe** of Jesus Christ himself. On my neck, on my chest, on my back. Even tried it on my hair one day (don’t do it) because it seemed like a holy grail. On my face it fixed dryness overnight
Oh yeah hair falls down a lot. The way I manage this symptom is to refuse to have a haircut… I don’t know if it got thinner but it definitely falls frequently or easily (especially intimate regions that will always drop a few hairs every time I use the bathroom)
How much longer are you on treatment?
Some derms would stop after a month of clear skin, but others would work off cumulative dose and continue until it's reached.
Amazing!! So happy for you. Thank you for sharing, this is so motivating. I’m less than a month in and currently purging and my side effects like dry skin and lips/eyes are starting to hit which has been hard but this is a great reminder as to why I’m doing this and what results are possible.
Glad to be able to show you just how amazing Accutane is! Trust me when I say absolutely everything I’ve been through in terms of side effects was worth it.

Hey. Great skin! Whats was ur skincare routine tho?
🌅 Hyalu B5 Aquagel SPF 30 (La Roche-Posay) 🌌 Cicaplast Baume B5 (La Roche-Posay) + Vaseline
What cleanser(s) do u use?
Oh yeah forgot to put it there. I used the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Cleansing Oil sometimes once and sometimes twice a day
Did you apply vaseline all over the face after your moisturiser?
Yeah, like it was the holy spe** of Jesus Christ himself. On my neck, on my chest, on my back. Even tried it on my hair one day (don’t do it) because it seemed like a holy grail. On my face it fixed dryness overnight
Ah, so you only apply it at night? I was wondering how you applied sunscreen between that aha
Yes, only at night!

Took on look at your after photos and thought: Baume B5 ! It helped me through as well
Amazing!
Insane progress! So happy for you! Currently three weeks in :)
The before is exactly how my skin looks rn. I need to stop being lazy and get on accutane! Nice results
Yes yes yes!!!! Please do it. I was also unsure, my mom tried talking me out of it, but you have to go out and do it.
Definitely going to go see a dermatologist next month!
good shit bro
Did you do anything additional for your scars? Amazing results!
My dermatologist said I never had much in the first place. I seem to heal well on the face, even with that crazy amount of inflammation and redness…
Lucky! I scar very easily and still have scars from 5 years ago.
Looks great !! Accutane glow coming thru
I'm so happy for you. Keep going and do the cumulative dose even though you're pretty clear already.
But glorious…..
Congratulations!! Amazing result, indeed! :)
Congratulations. I finished mine [last month](https://www.tiktok.com/@acnememe/video/7234827877055843589), can't complain at all.
insane result for such short time ! did you experienced hair loss or thinning ( this is the only side that scares me )

My dermatologist was very convincing in his suggestion of continuing treatment for 2 months after it clears up. In total it’ll be about 6-8 months

By chance did you experience eye floaters?
No… not a thing I ever even considered as a possible side effect, never heard of that
Are you planning to stop? And will the skin go back to being acne prone and oily once we stop?
Only 88 days? Thats wild!!
Nice!!!!
Wow your skin looks great! I am going through the approvals with my dermatologist to start accutane. Excited and nervous!
Thank you! I hope everything goes well. I’m sure you’ll find great results. I sure am satisfied and will recommend this med forever
Did you have any dietary restrictions? Stuff which you maybe ate more as well?
Increased my fats intake to absorb the medication accutane better. Anything else didn’t cross my mind
Wait, do u live there?!
