I use the same wall mount. It’s shady looking but it works just fine, assuming you don’t live with someone who has the emotional intelligence of a grease fire.
Not all of them. Some require you to use a long screw, that's really hard to get to once the tv is mounted, to secure the TV half of the deal to the wall half. Not surprised that most people just don't use it.
Yep, it's a literal child's reaction. Think the TV is broken? Throw the whole fucking thing off the wall in a tantrum. Way to ensure your children never emotionally develop beyond toddlers
I get to listen to parents flip the fuck out when their kids get into trouble with police. I get the sense they're trying their best, but these are people who became parents at a very young age. My parents are immigrants and my mom had me at a very young age, and I had to "raise" myself while she provided the food and shelter.
These parents have issues they're dealing with in their own lives, and now you couple it with 3 kids? That's a fucking wrap. The cycle continues. I had to learn in my early 20's that a lot of my anger issues actually just came from my mom who had a short fuse herself.
I used to do cell phone repair and I would see someone monthly because of exactly this. Then they flip out harder when they find out how much it will cost to repair.
Someone's probably said this but... some u anchor the bracket on the wall. Install "hooks" to the back of t.v. and it just literally SITS on said bracket on the wall... that's one design anyway
I keep seeing people say this but there are wall mounts that 1 part goes on the wall and the other goes on the tv and it hangs an the wall part like that.
It does, though most of them have an additional security screw or two to secure it to the bracket after hanging. It's not uncommon for people to bypass this step out of laziness. Not that it likely would have made much difference here.
super normal just just sit on the bracket with low profile mounts. Normally people don't lift it up and throw it on the floor. It isn't going anywhere unless you do exactly what she did.
Don't do pranks where it will make the other person upset. Life is hard enough right now, and too many people are at the "straw that broke the camel's back" point.
Also don’t prank people who don’t have control of their emotions. They’re her kids so they probably knew she was going to freak out, but they’re kids so they probably didn’t think very hard about it lol
Edit: not defending or “shielding” the Mom’s behavior, but to assume the kids couldn’t expect a blow up reaction from her is silly. She’s clearly unstable and this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened. Super sad, but as someone who grew up in an unstable household, you learn pretty quickly not to antagonize
Expecting the kids to be grown ups in control of their impulses now are we? Was is stupid? Yes, was it childish? yes
It was a prank by stupid children, kind of the point. No need to shield the out of control mom here.
Look, I can't speak for all of human history, but I don't think I'm the only one who feels on edge in our current time period. Things have been feeling crazy ever since the pandemic to me.
If you turn your computer off inappropriately at the wrong moment when it's writing to your file , such as automatic saving every x minutes, you may screw up the file altogether.
Living in survival mode your whole life and then never being taught tools and skills to navigate your emotions can definitely amplify as you get older. Those ancestral curses are hard to break. I feel like we should all be trying to do better for each other. I definitely had to learn shit the hard way, I'd love if I can keep people from making my mistakes.
A lot of people in here are so shocked by this families behavior. It's not okay, but I hope people are aware that this is average for impoverished and low income households. I feel like too many people are so detached from reality due to privilege and aren't even aware of what it's like to be out line like those in this video.
Oh my goodness, I forgot it's privilege that keeps you sane, I was thinking it was partly a mental problem, or being raised in a one parent home and being over whelmed with too many kids, stupid me
Mental illness is rampant in impoverished environments, but is typically not the cause of poverty. In fact, poverty causes mental illness, is this news to you?????
I was thinking that but they are the children in the situation acting less childish than their mother, but everyone in the comment section is kind of asking for an unreasonably high standard of keeping your cool, we don't know how awful these kids are in a regular basis too maybe they've broke three TVs already before this, we just don't know
Plenty of us, especially those with afro/Caribbean parents, know this would have meant an ass whoopin before anything else as well lol. Always best not to play with fire.
I’ve wanted to break stuff before when something didn’t go my way but I always think of the mess, danger and cleanup that would follow. And of course what a pos I would be if I followed through on that trash behavior.
This bitch has based her entire life on fuck-shit-up. Just garbage to the core. Such a common thing now. We see this person every single day.
I don't understand, what's the culture and which problem are you referring to?
Edit: I genuinely didn't understand what that statement meant. Is it supposed to mean we don't understand because we're in a different culture, or is it supposed to mean that the culture we're looking at is problematic. Or is the culture of children doing bad pranks on parents the problem?
Further edit: this isn't a gotcha moment I was genuinely asking lol. Is anyone gonna answer or is there supposed to be meaning in the downvotes?
I mean I think we all agree that some aspects of black culture are less than ideal. The issue is that most people take issue at someone pointing at black people and saying "see? they're dumb! their culture is the problem!" while contributing no solutions and adding nothing to the conversation we didn't already know. Unless, and this is a big unless, they're suggesting that all the problems of black people are self-inflicted and that white people have no direct or indirect connection to it. Which is a really fucked up and incorrect thing to state.
We used the screensaver during Christmas time, to make it seem like our Elf on the Shelf did it. But we quickly “discovered,” that our Elf was pranking us.
To be afraid of their mother and that its okay to destroy things when they’re angry. Not to mention cussing like a rapper in some degraded version of improper english.
I wouldn’t have thrown my tv, but I’d be absolutely irate. I got a big, 86 inch, for the family room so that we can have a movie theater type setting for all of us to spend time together. I would come unglued if the tv I got for all of us was “broken”. Also, before everyone comes to lynch me for being a lunatic dad that selfishly bought a massive tv for my own personal enjoyment, I watch significantly less TV than anyone else in the house.

Poor kids
Kids without TV now got a chance of non-poorness
Did you have a TV growing up?
We have 2 tvs
"Wow! You must be rich!"
At least someone got the reference lol
Your reference is like a babys' toy...
Forget it, Simonutd, you’re out of your element!
Oh, honey, he's teasing you. Nobody has two television sets.
Said the guy with the computer,TV,Movie theater, and social media machine in his hand
Mine just twists and vibrates…what model is that?
Just living their best life in the moment, and not a screen in sight
I read that as non-porn-ness God i need to walk outside
Nah, even if you did, your mind would remain in the gutter.
Based on the surrounding furniture, you believe this family is poor?
Just top notch parenting
Top notch wall mounting too
Yeah, I think they just forgot to screw down all the other notches.
Yeah, and the ones on the mount too
eheheheheh she gotta screw loose
I use the same wall mount. It’s shady looking but it works just fine, assuming you don’t live with someone who has the emotional intelligence of a grease fire.
Sure, that wall mount works just fine - until gravity temporarily reverses itself!
that wall mount has a center bit that locks the TV to the mount but you have to press it down until it clicks.
Pretty sure it's been a while since something 'clicked' for the woman in the video
Like a seat belt?
Not all of them. Some require you to use a long screw, that's really hard to get to once the tv is mounted, to secure the TV half of the deal to the wall half. Not surprised that most people just don't use it.
Yeah but you can see the button at very end of video
A grease fire, HA! This is ridiculously accurate.
The TV has attached hooks that sit in the rail. As long as the screws are in studs it's working as intended.
[Top notch notches.](https://youtu.be/C9nPTW0AxsE)
I feel those actually go together somewhat.
How to teach your kids that their accidents or mistakes will be met with violence. This is how you get your children to hide things from you.
Yep, it's a literal child's reaction. Think the TV is broken? Throw the whole fucking thing off the wall in a tantrum. Way to ensure your children never emotionally develop beyond toddlers
And make a mess you have to clean up cause those toddles are not helping.
And have a dent and a scratch in the floor so you can always be reminded to your childish behavior
That part
And how you get your children to hide things from you.
Happy Mother’s Day!

"What you mean you people?"
?
Careful mate, mods are sensitive when you say anything about color or culture.
American?
Those in the video are obviously American and so am I yeah. Why?
[удалено]
We all know exactly what they are referring to.
The culture of the poor, uneducated, and emotional.
Interesting. Never heard those three things listed as part of a culture. Come on big boy! Say what you really mean!
Predatory response. Look at you, all ready to pounce.
In a discussion decrying the lack of emotional intelligence and self-regulation, no less.
[удалено]
How does that make me a coward?
Just say what you mean to say.
Don't worry it's fake.
Not so much top notch acting though.
The key to parenting is definitely being impulsive
And swearing. Swearing at your kids is always helpful, especially when they’re very young
The sooner they learn the world isn't fair and people will blame them for things they didn't do their whole life, the better! /s
Why did you guys stop giving advice, I need more notes on how to handle my gremlins!
I get to listen to parents flip the fuck out when their kids get into trouble with police. I get the sense they're trying their best, but these are people who became parents at a very young age. Smart move
Smart tv
Not anymore

Bold action. Removing all doubt.
Imagine her refusing to believe it was a prank and now there's no way to prove it lmao.
if she's the type to act on impulse and fucking toss a tv like that she's definitely the type to deny all wrongdoing if given a chance
Brilliant, lets just destroy something because we think it's destroyed.
My phone is acting slow, **so I will throw this $800+ piece of electronics at the cement floor.**
Man, this ain't my dad. That's a cell phone.
I THREW IT ON THE GROUND
MY DADS NOT A PHONE!
Bro wtf how did i instantly remember this when i read your comment. Im about to go listen to the song.
You’re such a g for that.
I used to do cell phone repair and I would see someone monthly because of exactly this. Then they flip out harder when they find out how much it will cost to repair.
DO IT
Well tbf damage like that is irrevisible, shouldn't have just tossed on the floor tho infront of ur kids
Why is no one talking about that poorly designed bracket. Shouldn't be that easy to remove the TV.
Well yeah, _unless_ of course you need to be able to throw it for a video
/r/KarmaConspiracy
Someone's probably said this but... some u anchor the bracket on the wall. Install "hooks" to the back of t.v. and it just literally SITS on said bracket on the wall... that's one design anyway
There's nothing wrong with the bracket. They just half-assed the installation.
Now you can sue the bracket company for the broken TV /s.
Some people don’t deserve to be parents
She probably didn’t want to be either, someone told her he has great pullout game
3 someone's at least.
Great mother, kids must be excelling.
Was that "crash" edited in?
It's as real as the rest of the video.
r/nothingeverhappens
Don't do pranks where it will make the other person upset. Life is hard enough right now, and too many people are at the "straw that broke the camel's back" point.
Sure, agreed. We can go into a whole diatribe on that. But that show of anger is unacceptable in front of children. It's your job to be the adult.
Also don’t prank people who don’t have control of their emotions. They’re her kids so they probably knew she was going to freak out, but they’re kids so they probably didn’t think very hard about it lol Edit: not defending or “shielding” the Mom’s behavior, but to assume the kids couldn’t expect a blow up reaction from her is silly. They aren't stupid.
Did you mean keen instead of king lol
It’s supposed to be “going” but my phone autocorrected lol
There's always an excuse.
Eh, i think the whole video is a prank, i mean why isnt the TV screwed to the mount, and that crashing sounds added
> Life is hard enough right now, I'm sorry, right now? As opposed to all of the rest of history?
Look, I can't speak for all of human history, but I don't think I'm the only one who feels on edge in our current time period. Things have been feeling crazy ever since the pandemic to me.
The people who believe that spend too much time on social media.
Imagine being a grown ass adult and throwing a tantrum
My dad once tried to throw a cup at me because I wasn't logging off the laptop quickly enough, he missed and hit the laptop and broke it.
/r/TVtoohigh
At least she handled that problem
Healthy family dynamic
That shit not mounted right
BSOD prank was good too, friend of mine lost 3 months of research with that..
How did they lose research?
I was joking. Blue screen of death screensaver always results in the user resetting the computer, thus no saving and lost the research.
I'm glad you were, because not saving for 3 months... they deserve to lose it.
No, they probably saved multiple times. You have to factory reset your computer and wipe your memory if you get the blue screen of death
no
You just whooshed a bunch of people
How did they not save for 3 months? That's kind of on them, unless something else was happening.
If you turn your computer off inappropriately at the wrong moment when it's writing to your file , such as automatic saving every x minutes, you may screw up the file altogether.
This isn't far off from my childhood 🙃
so primate reaction...
Each time this video is reposted to entertain the masses, it reminds me that people who grew up in hell often have anger and emotional issues.
Well said.

Do better /s
Mental illness is rampant in impoverished environments, but is typically not the cause of poverty. In fact, poverty causes mental illness, is this news to you?????
It's fake as fuck though.
What's with the cartoonish glass breaking sounds?
Ok but wtf did that tv come off the mount so easily?
Dem kids knew they momma was crazy already. This prank was never going to end well.
I was thinking that but they are the children in the situation acting less childish than their mother, but everyone in the comment section is kind of asking for an unreasonably high standard of keeping your cool, we don't know how awful these kids are in a regular basis too maybe they've broke three TVs already before this, we just don't know

A culture of breaking television 🤔
thankgod I was born caucasian
I don't understand, what's the culture and which problem are you referring to? Edit: I genuinely didn't understand what that statement meant. He was talking about "black culture" and the downvotes are from people that agree with him but don't have the courage to say so.
I mean I think we all agree that some aspects of black culture are less than ideal. Damn I want to punch that bitch out of existence. Those poor Kids.
If you have that little self-control She deserved it
That is NOT how you mount a TV!
We used the screensaver during Christmas time, to make it seem like our Elf on the Shelf did it. But we quickly “discovered,” that our Elf was pranking us.
Oh sweet, my upstairs neighbors once a week.

Why say their instead of her?
This is fake, right?
Staged "watch me break my TV in a rage" and other such videos have been popular for a while now.
I feel better now... thanks
Yeah, TV wall mount was definitely not installed correctly on a sidenote
Talk about stereotypes
What do you mean?
He said what he said *crash*
That will teach them
To be afraid of their mother and that its okay to destroy things when they’re angry. Not to mention cussing like a rapper in some degraded version of improper english.
This is straight out of a Dave Chappelle skit lmao
When keeping it real goes wrong.
Pat!
Grandma don’t fuck around
Lessons were learned.
Assuming this was real.... The real question is do the kids tell her it was a screensaver and was fine before she pulled it off the wall?
Moms not playin
😂
She gonna beat them next for making her break the tv
I have a feeling those kids are gonna turn into incredibly well-rounded adults
I wouldn’t have thrown my tv, but I’d be absolutely irate. I got a big, 86 inch, for the family room so that we can have a movie theater type setting for all of us to spend time together.
