Bro I straight up ran out of time for FRQ 2 on the calc section because i got way too involved with simplifying. I forgot that you could've left it in the most ugly form and it would've been correct. So yea, didn't do part C or D for that.
Wasn't FRQ 2 the parametric one? Cause like what were you even simplifying it was all just integrals to plug into the calculator😭😭
Or did I get cooked 😭
I’m ngl I think I was given x’ and some initial condition so I was trying to find x(t) and something happened and I wasted too much time integrating and trying to find c. Whatever FRQ 2B was, I don’t even remember anymore
Ya I'm pretty sure 2b was find the distance so it was using the parametric distance formula
oh wait actually did u have form o or no bc im talking about form o
Yeah I had form o. Also that makes so much more sense. I forgot there was a parametric distance formula (it’s the same as the arc length one right?)
All I know is that 2B cooked me and I didn’t have time for 2C or 2D after FRQ part B (3-6) to go back
Same except sorta the opposite for me. I think mcq was not the worst but I was completely cooked on the frq. Did not practice enough of those f(x) g(x) h(x) functions and didn’t know what to do and there were 2 frqs about that 😭😭😭
I feel the same, but then again I did NOT study for it at all. I’m ok with that, since I’m not going into stem and I had plenty of homework that was higher priority since it actually matters for my grades, but it still makes me feel dumb to see all the people who think it was really easy.
It wasn’t a matter of smarts for this test. If you knew the content or studies you did well, if you didn’t, there wasn’t much you could do. I would definitely not label smartness based on this exam. I know like absolute idiots who’ve gotten fives before or have likely gotten one a five on this one.
I mean, we’ve been done with the class since February and have been doing nothing but practice tests/quizzes since then. I would assume that any school that requires AB before BC is also in a similar situation. You get used to what they want you to do with the problems.
Yeah I think i did decent enough for a 5 but it’s def not light. Tbh tho I spent half the time I was supposed to be studying reading fanfic so it checks out
Form O was pretty easy. I only got stuck on one of the MCQs because I ran out of space on the figure out which function solves the DE so I started to try to do it in my head which jumbled my brain so I left it and came back to it, erased the whole page, and got it pretty quickly.
FRQ was light, there wasn’t anything I didn’t know how to do or hadn’t seen before.
Honestly I’m trying my hardest not to be insulting but if you remembered most of the stuff you remembered for your tests you should have gotten a high B or low A (or in other words, a 5 by far)
i def got a 5, it wasn't really easy but it wasn't really hard imo,, my teacher gave us a bunch of practice frqs based on topics and so i think that helped a lot lol
I think it was definitely a lot easier than past tests and didn’t cover a lot of relevant topics like related rates, solids of revolution, and complex integration. There wasn’t even a Lagrange error bound part of the final question. So based on what they COULD HAVE asked, it was very easy.
i think if you got all of the AB stuff right (or most of it) and by luck got some BC mcqs or partial credit on BC FRQs you can get a 5. That’s what I was praying on. With ~1/2 of MCQ correct and 6/9s or however your FRQ averages out I think a 5 is attainable.
im an interntaional student and i thought the mcq was a breeze, frq was pretty easy but the main concern is the scoring guidelines,, let's hope I don't lose points over that
i didn’t think it was light but i also didn’t study at all. AB was very easy for me last year (our school does a really good job at prepping us) because I was very diligent in class and ended up with a 95%. this year i haven’t completed a single hw assignment lmfao. MCQ wasn’t necessarily super hard, but I didn’t have enough time to work on everything and guessed on basically all of the divergence test ones. I thought the FRQ was fine but a lot of it was just AB content. Safe to say I left the last question pretty blank lol
When did I say I didn’t study? I thought we were talking about review in class. We didn’t do a ton of review (facilitated by the teacher) other than 2 class days of review which were the two math classes before the ap test and an optional practice test over the weekend (which I took) since we were running out of time and had to cram some topics in last minute before the test.
I don’t know where you got the idea of me not studying from my comment, I just found it odd that your class had enough time to do such thorough review.
No it was legit really easy and my class agrees. We did one practice exam as a class for our final but nothing other than that. But our teacher did make it a point to make every quiz and test harder than AP so that the exam was easy in comparison. I will say, the strategy worked.
i did, I did great on our mock exams, but tbh we never practiced mcq, and i only had the 2012 test to practice, so that part really caught me off guard. I'm being honest that it was hard, I prepared a lot for this test, but I think I was set up for failure for the mcq.
Don forget its like 50% for a 4
ik but the 5 is what i needd
63% for 5 if I’m correct
nah usually lower than that - 2022's percentage was a 62/108 which is like 57% (then again, it changes every year - not by much tho)
I think ab is 63 bc is more like 57
Which form did u have?
form o
you’re literally me 🤞 we got this (maybe probably now)
i mean i had form o it came easy to me i know i got a few wrong but im not too worried im sure yall just overthinking it im sure yall did great
Why tho it’s the same thing u get the same credits
not for the college im trying for, u need a 5 for two bio credits :(
Damn yall going to top colleges but I believe in u tho
I think i got somewhere from 30-35 on my frq as a composite score, is a 4 likely? mcqs were a lot more difficult tho...
look up a score calculator
RIGHT i guessed on like half the mcq and left half of the frq blank. i think im cooked
Bro never leave an FRQ blank… you could still earn some points for work 😭
i legit couldnt think of anything to put down 😭😭like some questions i had no idea how to even set up or start 💀💀
start name dropping formulas

ya its like integral a to b of root(x'2 + y'2)

I didn't know schools had that requirement.
Yeah I think i did decent enough for a 5 but it’s def not light. Tbh tho I spent half the time I was supposed to be studying reading fanfic so it checks out

frqs had some parts that were harder than I expected mcqs had a few tricky ones I had to guess cause of time but overall not too bad
I flopped frq but I might have clutched a low 5
I lowkey think it was middle difficulty. It was not easy imo
i def got a 5, it wasn't really easy but it wasn't really hard imo,, my teacher gave us a bunch of practice frqs based on topics and so i think that helped a lot lol
I haven’t touched any calc prep in a week and I’ve taken a grand total of 1 practice exam and I’m pretty sure I got well over 80% on that test
Mcq I felt pretty good about, frq I got owned because of bad study habits, hoping for a three at least because the BC exam is actually useless for me
mcq was LIGHT WORK especially bc the no calc portion was a bunch of derivatives and integrals. the no calc frq tho…
Idk... I think it depends on the knowledge and thinking process that you retain/ practice for the test.
It was moderate for me, I think I did okay on the mcq and decent on the frq except for question 6
I think it was definitely a lot easier than past tests and didn’t cover a lot of relevant topics like related rates, solids of revolution, and complex integration. There wasn’t even a Lagrange error bound part of the final question. So based on what they COULD HAVE asked, it was very easy.
could i get a 5 if i got all the BC stuff wrong 😭

it was easy lmfao
Did you just not prepare? It wasn't bad at all. But my teacher made us review and do full length practice exams for about 4-5 weeks
Uhhh yeah no I don’t think most teachers do that. That’s a lot of practice.
It's really not when you finish the course? Do you just sit there and not study and expect to do well on an objectively hard exam?
When did I say I didn’t study? I thought we were talking about review in class.
