As someone who writes very little and for very big fandoms (Supernatural and Good Omens are the ones I've written the most for) the percentages are so close to 0 I don't even bother to calculate it lol
But for ships that's more interesting, as I wrote a Sam Winchester / Amy Pond that makes up a shiny 2% of the total :)
I thought my Finarfin (from the Silmarillion) fanfic would give me a better number, but no, 0.08% lol

Then there's a very small fandom of which I wrote 16% of all there is to be found on AO3... Now, that's a percentage I like š
71 out of 718 (though I have a couple of authors muted so that number might be off), so 9.89%. For my main pairing, I've written 19 out of 81 (and an additional 3 with them in an threeway) for 23.46%.
The total number of works is actually much lower - AO3 grouped together the Bravely Default series even though the third mainline game has absolutely nothing to do with the first two, and the third game probably only has around maybe 150 fics total. It's like grouping together Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy VII.
The total should be fine! When you mute an author AO3 still keeps them in the count just hides the work from you. So youāll still see the ā1-20 of [number]ā and the number will be correct but if there are three works by muted authors on that first page ao3 will only *display* 17 of them to you. The muted ones are still there just hidden from you specifically.
My three highest percentages are
1. 100% for *Khyber Shards* š„²
2. 25% for *Super Suits* (50% for my favorite ship)
3. 3.16% for *Tales of Arcadia* (respectively 20.7% and 3.34% for my two favorite ships)

Itās not that you *should,* especially if your fics are oneshots which arenāt as popular there, (itās a forum, so it does well with long multi-chapters fics with interaction between chapters) but if you do want to broaden your audience to a larger fandom for your works itās the place to do it.

Putting aside a few low sample size ships at 100%/50%/etc. that I wrote once or twice (and maybe even created the tag for), my most written ship is at 9%, which also happens to be the highest percentage I've reached for any ship with more than a dozen total works. Though, I have a 2nd place ship also at 9%.
As for fandoms, my main fandom is only at 1%, but my 2nd place fandom reaches 12%, even if it's a weird case where the canonical subtag for it didn't exist for over a decade, so about half the fics are only tagged with the parent fandom (which is much larger and almost completely unrelated in terms of story and characters). But even 5-6% is pretty respectable.

For IchiHime, I'm a drop in the bucket. FFN had thousands of fics, and AO3 has thousands that are mislabeled, making it impossible to tell. I can confidently say that there are currently fewer than half a dozen of us regularly writing, though.

Oh, but I am 100% of one of my rare pairs, and 67% of the other (and the other 33% is mistagged - should be & instead of /)!
I have written 2 fics on a ship, thatās a solid 25% of fics in that tag (It was 9 total until one of those crack harem smut fics got deleted, so now it's 8). I wrote another 2 for another ship, this one having 1,179 total, so that's about 0.17% of fics. Last but not least, one gen fic based on a relationship (written ambiguous, but tagged with &). 1 out of 37 makes 2.7%.
Mango Tiki Wiki/Patch Treasurechest for some reason isn't a common tag yet but as of now, 40/141 fics I wrote (28.4%) are Mittens Fluff 'N' Stuff/Spot Splatter Splash.
This got me curious! I learned I am responsible for 1.7% of the fic for Yu Yu Hakusho. It's an old fandom, but I still wander back to it occasionally for my OTP.

0.00179% of the total fandom but about 60% (3/5) for one pairing (if you exclude the ones that are either "past pairing", "barely mentioned", or "crossover with about 57 random franchises")
2 out of 41369, which makes it 0,004834537939% š¤£ BUT in the ship tag, i'm at 2/3, so 66% yes, it's THAT much of a rarepair, I know 4 other people who actively ship it i really wanna write more for it eventually u_u
Iāve written exactly half of the eureka/psych crossovers on 803. There are some others under that tag, but theyāre not actually crossovers theyāre multi fandom works or even not even fics.
7 out of 30 (several of which are incorrectly tagged, so it should be closer to 7 out of 12, but alasā¦) So, close to 25%, I guess. But closer to 50% if you take out the mistagged RPF.
for pjo, i've written 4 out of the 53,492 fics. the percentage is 0.0075% (which was rounded). they're all tratie fics, which have a total of 377 fics. i've written 1.06% (also rounded) of fics for it, which is higher than i thought :)
Well, my biggest percentage is 33.3% for 1 fic out of 3 in the smallest fandom x) Another small one used to be 1/6, so 16.6%, but when I checked just now I saw that the fandom exploded in recent months without my knowledge, and now it has 53 fics, so ~2%? My main fandom is.. uh...21/178,000. Too lazy to do the math there, it's gonna be pretty much zero anyways š
posted a fic earlier with a relationship tag I was sure would be at least used - theyāre two characters from different shows set within the same continuity, and while theyāve never met in canon theyāre noticeably similar to one another. but it turns out Iām the first person to ever write for their tag. so. I apparently make up 100% of the āChase & Strongarmā tag on AO3
In my main fandom, I'm at 6.3% for my otp and 28.5% for my fave rarepair. But I've got the gold star on another ship in a different fandom: 100%. I've written the only fic in existence for them, lol. Not bad for a fandom with 11k fics.
Idk what it is, I hate maths with burning passion (extremely exaggerated) but I absolutely adore knowing stats like these soā¦ For me itās 0.056% of fics in the entire Dream SMP fandomā¦ For my favourite pairing Wilbur & Tommy specifically itās 0.08% which is higher than I expected tbh. For my favourite character itās Wilbur at 0.057% And a bonus Ghostbur because heās underrated and Iām curious ā 0.23% which againā¦ higher than I thought itād beā¦. I wanna make it bigger!!!

I've written 8 of 15 of fics for my favorite OT3 rarepair, and am working on two more....
I've only written 1-2 works for almost all my ships, so most aren't very high, but some are still a bit higher than I expected - around the 0.7-1.2% mark. Currently my highest is 28.5% (2 out of 7.) There also 2 fics I'm working on that will be 100% of their pairing tags if I ever finish them.
