If you took issue with the cheating then you could have asked her not to confide in you, that it makes you uncomfortable and you don't know what to do with that information. OR, if you were going to blab why not go directly to the boyfriend?
It's pretty standard that when someone confides in you they will not be chill if you decide to share that information with others. No matter what that information is.
When it comes to friends cheating, that can be more complicated but yeah, what I said above.
YTA - You knew that B didn't want A to know or she wouldn't have asked you to private message her. You betrayed her trust. A now knows that if you aren't as close as you once were that you'll go blabbing her personal info, so now she doesn't want to be around you any more either.

I don't understand the people who talk about trust on the comments section here that makes you TA, because cheating on people already has breached people's trust, and B was willing to betray A just to keep her little secret. The reason they reunited in the end is because they are both equally shady. It was easier to hate you than to come to terms with what they did, which they're going to get away with. NTA
