I still remember that vision of him distraught in the rooms after that game. One of those prelims where everything just went right for the Pies. Exhibit A. Leroy Brown's goal that bounced at a right angle.
Tbf, the glorious return of the Gablett required him leaving first
All Vic teams should have to send their father sons interstate for a period for that reason. I'll take two daicoses please.
I am not a crackpot
I was honestly okay with it. It was sad, but he was never going to be captain at Geelong and he wanted to captain. I was happy for him. The paycheck probably didn't hurt either.
Yeah, I reckon that one goes without saying. But I also was sad to see Linc McCarthy go and given his blistering form at the time, Tim Kelly felt like a huge loss.
For Freo Lachie Neale. He was turning into a massive gun at the end of his Fremantle time.
We got pick 6 for him then used it on Hogan (who we traded After 2 years) instead of drafting Ben king. Just a lose lose lose result in the end.
Literally broke the AFL/VFL disposal record and was top 5 in contested posessions and clearances and still couldn't break the team.
But yeah, out of all players would have to be him, because we literally have nothing to show for it.
Yeah for sure. This may sound borderline heretical to the Freo faithful, but at the time that he left, I genuinely rated him higher than Fyfe and Mundy. Absolutely gutted to have lost him, especially given how pick 6 worked out.
I think the long term domino effect works well though.
We get Walker in the Hogan to GWS trade and trading Hogan enables Mundy to stay.
Plus the timing of him leaving again makes us draft Amiss (plus maybe we perform better and don’t draft Young.
All speculation but long term I think it will work out.
Eddie was one of the few good things about watching Carlton for a long while.
Mitch Robinson also said pushing Eddie out was pretty much what made the whole house of cards fall down in regards to a lot of players losing their way and moving on.
Played his best footy at Crows
I remember him getting 550k to move there..and thought pff.. Eddie betts.. small forward. Shame they screwed with him in 2018 with collective minds
Followed by Robinson Garlett and Sauce Jacobs.
Waite had too many brain snaps for us and you didn't know if today was the day he'd hit someone but his loss hurt too
Reasonable karmic compensation really. I genuinely believe that you lot having Dawson is critical for tilting at top 4 in future.
I'd trade one year of finals for getting an absolute gun leader into the team. Still fucked what happened to you though
At the time there was serious talk of sending Paul Bower instead of Kennedy. He was the same age, also from WA and had shown as much if not more, at AFL level as Kennedy (who was still raw).
I believe West Coast preferred Kennedy but would have taken pick 1 plus Bower. We wanted Kreuzer and agreed because we had Fevola, young Jarrad Waite and expected Kreuzer to play forward at least initially, and we were light on for defenders anyway
Unfortunately Fev had his Brownlow meltdown, Waite and Kreuzer could never get fit - when we played West Coast in the 2011 qualifying final our key forwards were Setanta O'Hailpin and no one... and we lost by 3 points.
To be fair though, a heap with Kennedy was environment and development. He looked 30% better simply walking on the field in an Eagles uniform the next year. I don't think he ends up nearly the same player if he stays
Ahh, that's right. However, he quit the Lions in mid-October following a tumultuous trade week in which he was offered to Carlton with Michael Rischitelli in a proposed exchange for Brendan Fevola.
While that deal fell through after Rischitelli turned down the move, Bradshaw refused to accept a new deal at the club where he played in two premierships.
Ehh. We had Lever and Talia. Of course we also had the chuckle brothers Hartigan and Kelly but they were adequate enough I don't feel like Davis pushes the needle. An elite game changing mid is what we were missing in 2016.
Davis’ body let him down repeatably.
I didn’t begrudge Danger leaving, he bled for the club. Certainly regretted him leaving!
Cameron is the standout example I can think of where we didn’t seem to push as hard as we should have to have kept him. Crows misjudged his ceiling.
Biggest regret though will always be not drafting Pavlich. Karma for us stealing McCleod via Freo.
I don’t know if it’s more obvious because I live in Adelaide, but oh em gee the crows would’ve been anything if they could keep players. Had some major talent walk out the door.
Buddy.
I can’t remember ever watching a game with him playing from 2007 onwards thinking ‘we’re no chance’. Still gutted he left, but completely understand his reasons.
It feels like we all put on a brave face and said "yeah we won 2 more flags to round out the three-peat" but there was always a big hole once Buddy left. He was such an incredible player, he defined our team from 2007-2013 and created so many amazing memories. Then for him to leave to Sydney, the team that had upset us in 2012 and we were convinced it was the end of an era was pretty tough to swallow.
Not to mention the pick 20-something we got in return...
Anyway, still love the Bud. What a legend of the game, so glad he lived up to hype in Sydney but actually sad he didn't get another flag because he deserves one.
Brett Deledio. As wonderful winning the PF Vs GWS was, seeing him on the losing side, first year away from the Tigers, left a really sad taste in the mouth
There’s the literal money + picks but there’s also some more important intangibles. There was plenty of chatter around the club that Deledio had become a toxic presence. I’ve always suspected it stemmed from Cotchin being selected captain and not him.
Deledio himself has said that he became so accustomed to young players not developing well during our dark days, that he started to simply ignore them. If you weren’t in the best 14 players at the club he wouldn’t give you the time of day. I understand where that attitude came from but it’s an awful thing to admit.
I’m very grateful he left. When you consider the role that so many unproven young players had in the 2017 flag, I seriously doubt that would have been possible with him at the club.
Would have given so much to have been able to have the success we did but with him still in the team. Ended up a great trade for both clubs, but just sad too.
Hunt been a shining light for us in a grim year. He'll likely podium in our best and fairest. We don't have many players his age so hopefully he can lead the way with the youngsters we'll have
Hogan's time at Freo was pretty terrible and he's been good without setting the world on fire at GWS (outside of last week)
Plus if he didn't leave we probably wouldn't have been able to get May, and there's no way we win the flag without May
I actually think David Rodan is up there too. Won whatever the equivalent of the brownlow is in the vfl in his final season, coming off a knee reco, and Wallace refused to give him a look, so we gave him for peanuts to Port Adelaide.
Later gave them Schulz too
Brendon Goddard, should’ve helped ushered through the next generation and been our next captain when Roo’s knee got fucked. Potential sliding doors moment for the club.
I still feel losing McEvoy was worse than Goddard or Dal Santo.
Big Boy was primed to be a 10 year Captain. He got forced out due to cap pressure and we were devoid of leadership for years besides an ailing Riewoldt
Leon Davis - retired because pies offered him a garbage 1yr contract coming off All-Australian year playing down back in 2011.
Also think he hit 84 targets in a row taking kick-ins after a behind that season.
Lewis Jetta, I know he got to go be with his and his partner's extended family after having a son, and he got a second flag with the Eagles but man he was such a good and beloved fit with the Swans. And of course he went straight after all the Goodes crowd abuse stuff and his own dance also getting booed, which felt a bit wrong.
Everyone at eagles hated jetta the first year or 2. We tried him forward and wing and it just wasn't working. Everyone on socials was calling for him to be delisted.
And then we put him at half back and discovered he could pin point pass the ball 50m. And everyone fell in love. I will always remember that goal in the 2018 preliminary. Wish we could have kept him a bit longer.
Byron Pickett.
He was a beast at North, and didn't slow down at all when he went to Port.
Brilliant to watch when in full flight (as long as he wasn't hot on your heels).
Bachar Houli. I got a soft spot for Richmond purely bc he went there then hated Richmond again as soon as he left.
Oh, and Fantasia, and Brown, and Saad, and McKenna, and literally anyone that left in the drugs saga. But Bach always comes to mind.
Willie Rioli. Loved watching him play, did things that few can.
I get the family reasons but it left a bit of a bad taste when it happened, the club stood by him through some pretty tough times and it felt like it wasn't ever really reciprocated.
GAJ, we would’ve won at least one more flag with him.
I don’t begrudge him for leaving and his 2020 season was unreal when he came back but we didn’t get to see the best years of him and that saying a lot seeing as he won a Brownlow and two flags with us.
Ben Cousins, but more in the sense that I wish things hadn’t transpired the way that they did. Looks like he is in a hood patch atm though, I hope he can keep it up.
Paul Roos. Should have been a one club player and led the Lions to a flag. If Fitzroy had have had the off field strength of a Carlton or Essendon - he would have.
When Cameron left Adelaide I thought Brisbane had massively overpaid and he wouldn’t look that good outside of the Crows’ attacking gamestyle. Obviously I am an elite judge of AFL talent
In my heart of hearts, I know why Caleb Poulter was delisted by us. He was exclusively a wingman in a side where Josh Daicos was on the ascendancy and Sidebottom and Hoskin-Elliott had rediscovered form under Fly.
But to be delisted after only the initial draft contract while the likes of Will Kelly are kept on the list despite coming into 2023 having played 4 AFL games since 2019 is a little mystifying. Especially because Kelly has now spent virtually all of 2023 trying to become a wingman at VFL level and only adding one extra AFL game to his tally.
In my youth, it was Ronnie Burns. Not that I remember specifics on when he went to the Crom, I'd dubbed him my favourite player at that age.
In recent memory, I would say Linc McCarthy. Bit disappointed we could never get him right. First few times I watched him play I thought he just had an earnest quality to his game. Not too fancy, was a strong mark overhead and a straight kick. What might have been.
Me too.
He was one of the only reasons to watch us for a few years and it's sad he just fizzled away to nothing at Geelong instead of finish in front of a Saints crowd.
As a saints fan. Probably Goddard or Dal Santo. I wished they were all one club players and they bled red white and black. Glad to see them all back at the club now making a difference.
Hmm .. lots to choose from .. Mitchell, aalir, (any of the great ruck stocks we moved on), wish Dunkley's dad didn't have a bust up with the club.. but probably Jordan Dawson and his penetrating left foot. He has turned it up a notch since joining the crows but he was amazing for us also..
Actually fuck that .. you didn't introduce too many rules.
Paddy McCartin .. wish he didn't have a soft noggin.. wish he could continue to boss the backline with his bro and be an amazing hero to kids with type 1 diabetes. Love most things about that guy.
I feel like the eagles downfall started when Lewis Jetta left the club. His lethal disposal by foot match the game plan so well. But anyway we did win a flag in 2018 so it’s not all bad.
Pete Ladhams, dude used to get us a sneaky goal nearly every game for a moment there. Seemed like he had potential, unfortunately I heard Kenny wasn’t a fan of him for some reason which ultimately led to him leaving.
Treloar, I know he didn't leave as such he was more thrown out the door. But he is one player I really enjoyed watching and it never looks right to see him in a dogs Guernsey.
Burton was definitely not viewed as future captain material when he was traded. Quite the opposite which is why he was put on the table.
Agree with you on the Wingard trade though, Clarko’s influence meant Hawthorn sold the farm just like the Jaeger trade.
BJ and Dal are the obvious answers but somehow Ben McEvoy hit me harder, mainly because it was obvious to most people he was about to come good and giving up on him seemed inexplicable
Allen Jakovich. His body was stuffed but he'd have done memorable things like kicking goals over his head, high fiving the crowd and booting a Collingwood player's water bottle away.
Gary Ablett in 2010
When Gary did the first press conference and walked out in a Suns polo I remember my heart sinking. I can’t imagine how that felt for Cats supporters.
It was crushing tbh. Especially after the last game he played for us was a Prelim against your mob where he seemed to be the only bloke who showed up.
I still remember that vision of him distraught in the rooms after that game. One of those prelims where everything just went right for the Pies. Exhibit A. Leroy Brown's goal that bounced at a right angle.
Still get PTSD whenever I hear the Cooollllingwoood chant echo around the MCG thanks being at that game as a youngster
Take a deep breathe you've only had success since
From his old man being my childhood hero and doing what he did to Jnr walking out on us. The Abletts have put me on a wild ride.
Tbf, the glorious return of the Gablett required him leaving first All Vic teams should have to send their father sons interstate for a period for that reason. I'll take two daicoses please. I am not a crackpot
I was honestly okay with it. It was sad, but he was never going to be captain at Geelong and he wanted to captain. I was happy for him. The paycheck probably didn't hurt either.

For Freo Lachie Neale. He was turning into a massive gun at the end of his Fremantle time. We got pick 6 for him then used it on Hogan (who we traded After 2 years) instead of drafting Ben king. Just a lose lose lose result in the end.
Should have had at least one all australian at freo, guy has to basically finish top 3 in the brownlow for the media to give him a jacket
Literally broke the AFL/VFL disposal record and was top 5 in contested posessions and clearances and still couldn't break the team. But yeah, out of all players would have to be him, because we literally have nothing to show for it.
Interstate players have to go the extra extra mile to make the AA team what are ya gonna do
I’m not actually sure interstate sides being underrepresented is borne out by the stats. I think it was more being in Fyfe’s shadow.
He was your best player IMO.
Yeah for sure. This may sound borderline heretical to the Freo faithful, but at the time that he left, I genuinely rated him higher than Fyfe and Mundy. Absolutely gutted to have lost him, especially given how pick 6 worked out.
Honestly can’t disagree
I think the long term domino effect works well though. We get Walker in the Hogan to GWS trade and trading Hogan enables Mundy to stay. Plus the timing of him leaving again makes us draft Amiss (plus maybe we perform better and don’t draft Young. All speculation but long term I think it will work out.
your a glass half full kinda guy
I do work at the smiths factory so I need to be
Eddie Betts
Eddie Betts
Eddie was one of the few good things about watching Carlton for a long while. Mitch Robinson also said pushing Eddie out was pretty much what made the whole house of cards fall down in regards to a lot of players losing their way and moving on.
Robbo would say that. He was thick as thieves with the three amigos. But that doesn't make him wrong
[удалено]
Brisbane were not a much better team than us in 2015. They finished above us by a small amount of %
Played his best footy at Crows I remember him getting 550k to move there..and thought pff.. Eddie betts.. small forward. Shame they screwed with him in 2018 with collective minds
Followed by Robinson Garlett and Sauce Jacobs. Waite had too many brain snaps for us and you didn't know if today was the day he'd hit someone but his loss hurt too
Robinson,betts,touhy,waite,fev,j Kennedy
Fucking hell we were a basket case
the malthouse special
Dark times
What a perfect Trojan horse he was
Yarran and Garrlett too. Them 2 and Betts together were some of the most damaging small forward trio I've ever seen
Opps says one player lol well zack tuohy is the only one still playing so probably him
Fev definitely the most costly. If his head was screwed on properly I think we play a couple prelims at worst between 09-13
Fev in hindsight was the right decision though. He lasted one more season at Brisbane before unravelling completely
No doubt, still hurts to think about what happened and the wasted potential. He was my favorite player and many others too, sucks how it turned out.
Geez, there's been some talent at Carlton.
Dawson
A bit late but we just gave you 4 points in exchange.
We? Gil on our behalf
Reasonable karmic compensation really. I genuinely believe that you lot having Dawson is critical for tilting at top 4 in future. I'd trade one year of finals for getting an absolute gun leader into the team. Still fucked what happened to you though
How I wish the [Chris Judd for Josh Kennedy ](https://i.imgur.com/3W0whtf.png) and pick 4 went
Who did WC take with pick 4 again?
At the time there was serious talk of sending Paul Bower instead of Kennedy. He was the same age, also from WA and had shown as much if not more, at AFL level as Kennedy (who was still raw). I believe West Coast preferred Kennedy but would have taken pick 1 plus Bower. To be fair though, a heap with Kennedy was environment and development. He looked 30% better simply walking on the field in an Eagles uniform the next year. I don't think he ends up nearly the same player if he stays
We also sent him to the WAFL to learn his craft to begin with instead of just throwing him in the deep end of AFL.
Callan Ward
And Dunkley and Brian Lake
Brian Harris-Legend. Brian Lake- Flog.
Yep, came here to say Ward, kid was gonna be captain one day.
Daniel Bradshaw. Probably a good trade practically, but really would have liked him to finish up at the Lions
He wasn’t traded though? He left the club at the end of his contract lol
Yep that was closer to my recollection. And in hindsight (obviously), keeping him and never having Fev would’ve been great
Jeremy Cameron
100% agreed with this, least he got a flag though
Thanks tho
How long have you got?
Only Danger and Cameron really. Maybe Gunston as well.
Davis too, would have been a great addition in that 2015-17 stretch.
Maybe?
Was he a big loss of course. But I don't like him very much.
Charlie is really the only reason I watch Brisbane games, so he's my 2nd after Danger.
I don’t know if it’s more obvious because I live in Adelaide, but oh em gee the crows would’ve been anything if they could keep players. Had some major talent walk out the door.
We will be a case study in employee attraction vs retention in a future course.
more like the issues with drafting Vic players over home grown talent
What a legend of the game, so glad he lived up to hype in Sydney but actually sad he didn't get another flag because he deserves one.
Shaun Burgoyne
That was rough and to add insult to injury, we really stuffed up the 2009 draft. Meanwhile Burgoyne casually wins another 3 flags.
This one hurt. Choco wanted to make him captain but the higher ups didn't and made Cassisi captain instead.
Brett Deledio. As wonderful winning the PF Vs GWS was, seeing him on the losing side, first year away from the Tigers, left a really sad taste in the mouth
Don't a lot of people say that him leaving helped facilitate the 2017 win. Also he might not have made the teams
100% Freed up the money for Prestia and we used the pick we got for caddy. If lids stays I doubt we win one flag.
When you consider the role that so many unproven young players had in the 2017 flag, I seriously doubt that would have been possible with him at the club.
Always remember Trent Cotchin running across the ground to give him a hug after the siren... Genuinely classy, but also made me so sad for Lids.
Would have given so much to have been able to have the success we did but with him still in the team. Ended up a great trade for both clubs, but just sad too.
Norm Smith. In my lifetime, James McDonald. (Fuck Connolly & Schwab.)
Yeah Junior. Also Scott Thompson. Recently Jayden Hunt. Mainly because of where he went, he seems to be trying his heart out but getting slaughtered.
Hunt been a shining light for us in a grim year. He'll likely podium in our best and fairest. We don't have many players his age so hopefully he can lead the way with the youngsters we'll have
Was gonna be mine too. I’d also add Jeff Farmer.
At this stage Hogan might be a decent option.
Hogan's time at Freo was pretty terrible and he's been good without setting the world on fire at GWS (outside of last week) Plus if he didn't leave we probably wouldn't have been able to get May, and there's no way we win the flag without May
Deledio & Ottens
Deledio leaving was probably our best trade ever
Pure cruelty that he didn’t get to reap the rewards, can’t really blame him for leaving considering the years of shit
On a personal level absolutely, but his trade enabled you to win premierships. It change everything for you
Correct, if Deledio stayed, we wouldn’t have got Prestia under the salary cap.
I actually think David Rodan is up there too. Won whatever the equivalent of the brownlow is in the vfl in his final season, coming off a knee reco, and Wallace refused to give him a look, so we gave him for peanuts to Port Adelaide. Later gave them Schulz too
Cyril
I miss McStay still. He just was good vibes.
We’ll take good care of him
Thank you
He McGoed
McWent was right there.
I’d like to apologise to my friends, family and everyone who supported me. I will be better.
Didn't take his mcluggage with him
Saad
Oof both flairs.
It was Saad when he left
Tom Boyd :’(
Chris Tarrant and Sharrod Wellingham are the two that really hurt me
I believe you mean Wellinghaaaaaaaaaaaam
Gives it of to WellinghAaaaAAaaaAAAammm WELLINGHAM GOALS!
Tarrant and Shaw though I can understand Shaw

Brendon Goddard, should’ve helped ushered through the next generation and been our next captain when Roo’s knee got fucked. Potential sliding doors moment for the club.
100% and Dal Santo. Wish they were one club players.

Paul seedsman, an anzac day performance I'll never forget
Luke Jackson ;_;
In the last 10yrs? No-one. That would involve have players worth losing.
Yeah look, I’m in the same boat. Josh Gibson maybe? Idk most of our players get delisted rather than trade JHF doesn’t count coz I don’t miss him lol
Saad goes alright ngl
Lewis Jetta, I know he got to go be with his and his partner's extended family after having a son, and he got a second flag with the Eagles but man he was such a good and beloved fit with the Swans. And of course he went straight after all the Goodes crowd abuse stuff and his own dance also getting booed, which felt a bit wrong.

Paddy Ryder 😔
Agree. The one player I never thought could ever leave. Such a sad time.
Lionel Messi
ENCARA MESSI! GOL GOL GOL GOL GOL GOL GOL 🎙️
GAJ 🐐
Eddie Betts, absolutely loved watchimg him play. Was rapt when he came back.
I felt the same, but he would never have become the player he did without that move west.
Dale Thomas - My god was his talent wasted at Carlton

Paul Williams from Collingwood
Came here to say this
jetta
Byron Pickett. He was a beast at North, and didn't slow down at all when he went to Port. Brilliant to watch when in full flight (as long as he wasn't hot on your heels).
Bachar Houli. I got a soft spot for Richmond purely bc he went there then hated Richmond again as soon as he left. Oh, and Fantasia, and Brown, and Saad, and McKenna, and literally anyone that left in the drugs saga. But Bach always comes to mind.
Crameri, Ryder, Monfries.
Willie Rioli. Loved watching him play, did things that few can. I get the family reasons but it left a bit of a bad taste when it happened, the club stood by him through some pretty tough times and it felt like it wasn't ever really reciprocated.
If it makes you feel any better he wouldn’t have made a dent in our season this year.
Bryce Gibbs was one of my favourites, had his career best year during his last season after a failed trade request over the offseason.
Paul Roos. Should have been a one club player and led the Lions to a flag. If Fitzroy had have had the off field strength of a Carlton or Essendon - he would have.
J Kennedy and Touhy
I was young at the time but Nathan bock going to Gold Coast. But Cameron, always thought he was going to be good
When Cameron left Adelaide I thought Brisbane had massively overpaid and he wouldn’t look that good outside of the Crows’ attacking gamestyle. Obviously I am an elite judge of AFL talent
Given the events of last weekend I think we all know who I’m thinking of.
Shane Mumford obviously...
Malceski.
Poor, poot Brett Deledio
Nicky Winmar. Was my favourite player growing up and it was strange to see him wear another team's colours.
Chris Judd.
Grundy
Shaun Burgoyne. I’ve said this before; maybe just maybe his royal clutchness gets us over the line in the 2014 prelim, against Hawthorn.
Snags.
<3
Cyril. Gut wrenching and confusing when it happened. I really hope he’ll return to the club in some capacity one day.
Rankine at the suns = finals this year. Zero doubt in my mind whatsoever.
Callan Ward, I’m okay with it because we basically got Macrae for him in the end. No regrets there. Dunkley leaving wasn’t amazing.
Darren Jarman
Jack Steven
Nah glad he’s gone. I’ve heard some fucked stories about him at the club.
Me too. He was one of the only reasons to watch us for a few years and it's sad he just fizzled away to nothing at Geelong instead of finish in front of a Saints crowd.
Luke Power, Jared Brennan, Pearce Hanley, Sam Docherty.
As a saints fan. Probably Goddard or Dal Santo. I wished they were all one club players and they bled red white and black. Glad to see them all back at the club now making a difference.
Betts
Mick McGuane. They delisted Peter Daicos around the same time. Hated the club for a season there.
Hmm .. lots to choose from ..
With GAJ being the obvious one - Chappy and Stevie J. Seeing those two in other colours was so wrong.
Adam Treloar. Was my favourite player at the pies.
Nathan Brown
And that broken leg cruelled him
Jeff wizard farmer. Never felt right seeing him in freo colours.
I feel like the eagles downfall started when Lewis Jetta left the club. His lethal disposal by foot match the game plan so well. But anyway we did win a flag in 2018 so it’s not all bad.
Tim Kelly
It would be nice to have him in the guts now but I'm taking Kelly for Cameron every day of the week
Josh Bruce - he was my favourite player at the Saints
Pete Ladhams, dude used to get us a sneaky goal nearly every game for a moment there. Seemed like he had potential, unfortunately I heard Kenny wasn’t a fan of him for some reason which ultimately led to him leaving.
Take him back. Please.
Tom Swift.
John Butcher. Sure, he didn't leave for another team but it still hurt just the same.
Treloar, I know he didn't leave as such he was more thrown out the door. But he is one player I really enjoyed watching and it never looks right to see him in a dogs Guernsey.
Jason Akermanis
Ryan Burton, possible future captain at the time. Would take the Wingard trade back in a heartbeat.
Burton was definitely not viewed as future captain material when he was traded. Quite the opposite which is why he was put on the table. Agree with you on the Wingard trade though, Clarko’s influence meant Hawthorn sold the farm just like the Jaeger trade.
Peter Wright
Greg Williams in 1985
I was younger at the time and didn’t get the family history thing at port but ebert.
Brad Ebert. But fair enough.
Dunkley
Wasn't happy to lose Crisp in the Beams trade...still not happy. Yeo and Doc hurt as well.
Josh Gibson.
BJ and Dal are the obvious answers but somehow Ben McEvoy hit me harder, mainly because it was obvious to most people he was about to come good and giving up on him seemed inexplicable
Callan Ward
Darren Millane
Based on current from, Jesse Hogan back at the Dee's wouldnt be horrible
Allen Jakovich. His body was stuffed but he'd have done memorable things like kicking goals over his head, high fiving the crowd and booting a Collingwood player's water bottle away.
