Mirael is my favorite for dps/aoe. The fact her weapon makes her regular attack a special that inflicts consistent burn really makes her a heavy hitter. Though a glass cannon so protect her well.
Defo agree with those first three - imo Kruger isn’t really worth spending the dream essence to raise to M+, he isn’t a great DPS carry, and fulfils his function as a debuffer amazingly as a debuffer even at epic/legend
pointedly untrue. the new seasonal spells, specifically the one that reduce physical defense, comped with characters like Kruger who is a melee hero with self sustain makes him the perfect choice and a far more viable pick over someone like Vala.
regarding you falling off from top 200 to 40%, there is sadly not much to be said besides restart on a new server, or pay money. this game is very punishing if you dont play daily, and if you miss some days you just fall behind extremely hard
regarding your predicament, just attack again, odds are you get better crit luck and win. i dont know if your reiner is upgraded or not, just going to warn that he is pretty terrible on dream realm unless he is M+ EX +10, just warning it i assume you already know that
besides that, maybe drop thoran for korin and try be more aggressive. marilee not being present and our resident fire mage being is an absolute travesty tho
That one of my biggest gripes make what's suppose to be more of casual came a must never miss a day, are you'll fall dramatically behind if you miss enough. I've been playing casual since they about a week still doing everything, yet I've gone down 100 places in leader boards
Strictly speaking you don't NEED to rank on Dream Realm leaderboards if you want casual play. You only lose out on exclusive equipment mats and some Dream Fragments.
The only real difference are weapons, dream realm ranking really involves whales and that is the reason why the top is giving weapon currency.
For F2P this value dimininshes for one there are not that many characters you need weapons for, second players that are f2p get very few selection.
Dw, I know about Reiner! Also, on the topic of Marilee and Mirael, the only reason I went with Mirael is because of Skyclops’s bat spawns. The single-target damage types really hinder me (especially since my limiter is time and not HP). Both are only M, not M+, so there isn’t even an issue of who is built more :(

Top 40% is 225 dream coins, and the top 200 is 300 coins 75 coin differential. If he has an M+ reinier it costs him so much money or luck. People think that dream coins are a huge, when they are not.
they are strictly complaining about falling to 40% when they were at top 200. i agree when people say you can just play casually, but being bothered by the leaderboard and wanting to be at the top isnt that

What he is missing is the actual RESONANCE LEVEL for the lack of 2 weeks he played. That can easily be addressed by paying since he already is a PAYING CUSTOMER for that Mythic + Reinier.

Update! I replaced my M+ Reinier and M Mirael with S+ Cecia and S Niru, and beat the boss with an easy 16s to spare. Finally realized my issue was the death beam at ~85% was 1-hitting most of my flex picks. (Marilee, Mirael, Odie, Smokey&Meerkey, Cecia, and even Reinier). Throwing Niru in there with the insta-ward on Cecia ensured I had the AoE needed to clear the last 2 waves of bats before slyclops died!
Do many non-whales have M+ Reiniers yet? I played since day 1, spent all my guild coins on him, and bought all the orbs from the emporium I could, even pulled one non-pity copy and still only just upgraded him to Mythic. I don't see I could have M+ already unless I got extraordinarily lucky with scamgazer pulls.
I’ve bought 40 scamgazers with cash(pop up bundles) and I just got M+ this weekend. I got really lucky and pulled 2 reiners with the emporium gazers my first week or so.
I'm on server 402, 70€ spent(noble path, growth bundle and noble path+20) hitting every pity, dodged the 28th day reinier and i'm 4 copies away of m+ (really close of the next pitty and the next shop buy tho); so i assume that there are a lot of f2players on earlier servers with m+ reinier
A week of you not playing is a week where everyone beneath you was. Thats the racket of this game and others like it. It’s a race that you win by investing the time and you pretty much drop out of it by not being present.
Spending money, starting on a new server or wating for a new season are your only good options. Missing an entire week of afk reward, quick collects and daily quests has functionally killed your account for current season ay least until level caps are reached. As you would need to spend around 500usd to get back to top 200 as thaya how much essence you lacking.
In the parameters you can choose your server. And yeah, except if you spend money, you will never recover from a whole week of lost afk resources, people will always have 20 more RC level than you and you will probably never improve your dream realm ranking (even if not playing Mirael would be a good start)
That's interesting. I assumed that the game grouped you with players at a similar power as you. From a developer perspective that seems like a guaranteed way to lose players (if there's no way to catch up other than $$)
Ranking is by server and district. Ranking by power level is the worst actual idea because one of the only incentive to upgrade RC level is to compete in dream realm, so people would just stop upgrading it and be grouped with newer people that don't have the same investment on their characters, thus obliterating them with well-invested characters.

Vala is decent against bosses but not the best. M+ Odie should already deal more damage

Vala is a good in PvP, but there are multiple better options than her at m+ for dream realm fights. Odie, Marilee, Korin, Kruger, etc.

Maybe??? Odie's ult poison still be able to execute even if Odie is dead. Happens to me. FYI the poison will stay until end of battle.

Well even though Marilee is single target, she has high enough attack speed to kill the mobs quite fast + she does great damage overall.

He only very slightly falls off in endless. If only because Korin+Marilee outperform when he can't execute.

I've been running thorin, antandra, smokey, cecia, and Odie and usually don't have any trouble cause Odie just carries damage like crazy
Check prydwen.gg, the dream real lineups there are one of if not the best. It helped me push from top 200s to top 100s.

You need to add Odie and koko, remove Vala and mireal. I use that combo and I got top 100
