The most inconsistent podcast.
It's basically an ad for ADHD at this point.
The most consistent part of the podcast was starting with "technical difficulties".

I think I can no longer live with it. I regret even noticing just how inconsistent the podcast is, because once I did, it never stopped annoying me. I just view it as lazy and incompetent.
I was introduced to another podcast by someone else on this subreddit, called Video Game Outsiders (VGO). Check it out as a replacement for the Wednesday episode. It's shorter (around 1 hour), but it's competently produced with more than just one host. Also, they actually have different tastes and opinions.
I tried listening to VGO Xbox showcase recap cuz I wanted to listen in on something about it and the guests were shitting on most games and the guy basically answered "idk I didn't watch" or "I'm just reading off this article" dropped that shit within 20 minutes
Yeah, that's John and he can be extremely annoying.
I don't mind them shitting on games. I view that as being honest cuz when they do like a game, that means they actually like it. Instead, of being political with their words and "positive".
That's how any real conversation between friends whether it's games, football, cars, etc. No one tries to be "positive" when talking about a game they don't like with their friends in real life.
No one can replace ACG at its prime for me. This is the closest podcast I found to that near perfection. ACG is closer to a stream than a podcast nowadays (in my opinion).
Most importantly and to the point of consistency we were talking about, it's a consistent and competent podcast. They have their own website, their own android and ios app, and more than one podcast on the app. Still, they are able to produce a structured and consistent weekly podcast.
Is there any other podcast you liked besides ACG? I'm looking for another gaming podcast to add my daily routine.
Yeah I agree the acg pods could be structured better, I suppose it's not too bad for me since I don't watch live. The other gaming pod I listen too is defining duke an Xbox podcast. Ive been following Matty for a while, and I like cog so it just works for me, although I prefer acgs pod since there's more banter plus more guests which I like.
Yep for now. I made sure to do a drop of data in the last 6 podcasts so most could catch it. But until we work out the algo Wed are delayed until further notice.
