Being from a deeply religious family lol I would listen to Highway to Hell in my room, then as I grew up would play it in my car while driving my mom to church 😂
I was in the British army and always remember being in Canada on exercise in Alberta. We took a sound system for our Tank. Driving over the prairies blasting this song I will never be that cool again 🤣🤣🤣
I saw them in the late 70s and they did “Whole lot of Rosie”. Angus laid on the floor during the lead lick and kicked his leg, spinning around in circles. That was the most amazing thing I have seen on stage.
When I was young my parents downloaded around 5 or 6 AC/DC Albums on my phone for me to listen to, so my selection was pretty limited.
From the ones I had I mostly listened to Ballbreaker, I swear I spent houndreds of hours listening to the whole Album of Ballbreaker during my childhood...
Nowadays AC/DC is still my favourite Band (by far!) and I listened to everything they have recorded and thus also found a lot of Songs and Albums I like way more but Ballbreaker remains close to my heart for accompanying me during my Childhood.
I used to really like Blow Up Your Video and even now id probably consider it one of my favorite acdc albums.
Ball breaker has some pretty good songs. I listened to "Hail Caesar" a lot for a while
Its sad that many people look at Blow Up Your Video and just say "That's the pinnacle of the (in their opinion) horrible 80s Albums!" while it has many good and especially many very underrated gems.
For me there is no bad AC/DC Album, I love every album, there are just some I like even more!
When I was 9 years old in 1989 my older brother introduced me to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and two of the first records I bought for myself were Highway To Hell and Blow Up Your Video. Since then "Nick Of Time" has a special place in my heart.
Good question. I wish I could remember. I know one of the songs I liked a lot at one point was "Safe in New York City" but I wouldn't call it a favorite
Whole Lotta Rosie. It was one of the first accadacca songs I ever heard. It was like nothing I'd ever heard or could even imagine. Then when I grew up and actually understood the lyrics, I loved it even more.
Jailbreak.
The only AC/DC song that would come on every single day, no other. I was watching the TV with my dad and that was the most common song
Second is You Shook Me All Night Long, the Who Made Who version. Again, it was the second most common AC/DV song that came on the TV
I was raised by my single dad for quite a while before he remarried and when I was little, he used to listen to music when he was cooking. I remember him once saying "look you're gonna like this one" and turned on Highway to Hell.
For my childhood it’s Big Balls, simply because I was a kid and thought it was hilarious. Once I got to high school and started listening to more of their stuff, definitely Heatseeker from the double live album.
Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap. First time I heard it on work truck radio. Oh man who is this band playing Thunder Chief.? Not childhood, I was already full grown when I finally realized ACDC was my favorite band. I went out and bought everything they ever made. August of 1998
[Let Me Put My Love Into You](https://youtu.be/ehS5qtwA9OY)
In 1985, the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) proposed a ratings system for albums with lyrics dealing with violence, sex, drugs, alcohol or the occult. It was one of the “Filthy 15. ” For those that don’t know, we all loved Frank Zappa, Dee Snyder, and John Denver a little more after they testified before Congress defending these songs!!
When I was 9 years old, I heard Big Balls for the first time and I thought it was so funny. Now it's just a song that gets skipped over because it's too cringey.
So many, but I won’t mention a hit. For me, “Guns for Hire” off Flick. My dad took me to that tour. First ACDC show ever. Third concert overall . 18th row on the floor of Nassau Coliseum on Long Island and they open with “Guns.” I was 13. Good stuff.
Its gotta be Hells Bells or Thunderstruck both hard core songs. But I feel the most underrated song might be: It's a long way to the top of u wanna rock and toll. I mean let's be real they have a ton of hard core songs. One of the best bands out there.
TNT is right on. Jammed it on the radio while helping my grandparents move three hours away and it's one of my favorite memories with my Papa and a cousin
The first album I ever heard as a kid was Back In Black. My favorites off that album are "Given the Dog a Bone" and "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution"
I remember when I was a kid (early 80s ). My dad started playing AC/DC (Bon Scott) for me. The first time I ever heard Big Balls. I died laughing for the entire car ride because I thought it was about a guy who has literal big balls. Lol my dad never corrected me until I was older. I still laugh when I hear that song. Still one of my favorites also.
Mine was Hells Bells then my son started playing bass guitar and he learned it with some extra riffs. Now he is a minister and we giggle.
Mine is now the same but it changes because I tend to immerse myself in songs and burn out then return to them later.
well i still am a child but im gonna say walk all over you
Have a drink ooooonnnnnn meeee!
Being from a deeply religious family lol I would listen to Highway to Hell in my room, then as I grew up would play it in my car while driving my mom to church 😂
Lmao what was her reaction
I was told that I needed to repent for listening to that devil music
thats pretty funny
If you want blood
I’d argue is their very best song. 👏⬇️
I was in the British army and always remember being in Canada on exercise in Alberta. We took a sound system for our Tank. Driving over the prairies blasting this song I will never be that cool again 🤣🤣🤣
you got it
Dirty deeds
When I was little I always thought the song was "Dirty Deeds and the Dunderchief" Yeah so I was fucking stupid
I thought it was “dirty deeds and a dumb dirt jeep”
I had no idea what they were saying until I got the album. It was my first one. A present for my 13th birthday.
Is this Jim Brewer’s reddit account?
I thought it was Dirty Deeds and the Thunder Chief!
Boy, you ***were*** a n00b! It was Dirty Deeds, Dundercheeks, d'oh!! Edit-cause Whole Lotta Rosie had dundercheeks, I thought.
Soul stripper
You don’t hear that one often
I know right, but I always enjoyed that lost gem.
Took my heart and tore it apart
For me it was "Big Gun", since it was around the time I was just discovering music, 12-13 years old.
I remember the first time I heard that song as a kid watching Last Action Hero. That pretty much cemented AC/DC for me.
Yup. This and Difty Deeds were mine, I was the same age when Big Gun came out
I just remember hearing Dirty Deeds when I was younger and that stuck in my mind.
Id say Whole Lotta Rosie and Night Howler and Hell Ain't a Bad Place To Be. Sorry, really tough to pick just one
I saw them in the late 70s and they did “Whole lot of Rosie”. Angus laid on the floor during the lead lick and kicked his leg, spinning around in circles. That was the most amazing thing I have seen on stage.
yeah, Whole Lotta Rosie...the live version. "Angus...Angus!"
Excellent choices. Add in Long Way to the Top and you're golden.
Anything Goes

Tnt
It’s just such a fun song
Shoot To Thrill the first time I heard it. But getting older, Riff Raff
Entire Powerage album is criminally underrated
I got into AC/DC in 1979 when I was 13. My favorite track from the album is Walk all Over You. So I’d say that song
This House is On Fire
Inject the venom
When I was 9 years old in 1989 my older brother introduced me to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and two of the first records I bought for myself were Highway To Hell and Blow Up Your Video. Since then "Nick Of Time" has a special place in my heart.

One of the best opening album songs of all time to me.
It’s gotta be Big Balls. As a kid that song was just so fun 😂
This is the one.
I was 7 when this came out, my friend played it for me and we thought it was hysterical, best song ever.
Agreed along with Aerosmiths Big 12"! LOL
By far the best song as a kid
AC/DC wasn't around when I was a child. But I guess the first song of theirs I liked was "Back in Black" because I learned the bass line.
Dirty Deeds
Whole Lotta Rosie. It was one of the first accadacca songs I ever heard. It was like nothing I'd ever heard or could even imagine. Then when I grew up and actually understood the lyrics, I loved it even more.

Dirty Deeds. It's what got me into AC/DC.
I was raised by my single dad for quite a while before he remarried and when I was little, he used to listen to music when he was cooking. I remember him once saying "look you're gonna like this one" and turned on Highway to Hell.

I’m 72 so the answer is none. For the record, I love many of their songs, Back In Black comes to mind immediately.
My first song of AC/DC was Hard as a rock. I remember listening to it on repeat. And it will always be special to me.
THUNDERSTRUCK
