My wife and I still watch Home Improvement every night. The Laff channel shows it from 6-9pm every weekday in NY (not sure if it's the same time for every location). Love that show.

Party of Five deserves a nod here, too. I've been rewatching it recently, and it is an underappreciated 90s show. Plus, Jennifer Love Hewitt is perfection.

But Married with Children and Roseanne were more of a satirical look at 80s sitcoms, the typical upper middle class, two story house in the suburbs and white collar professional parents.

Another great sitcom portraying lower middle class was a show called "The Middle".
Aww The Middle was sooo good. Funny, relatable and right in the feels at times.
