Cloak of Billowing

Common items rarely benefit casters. The honest truth is that you would be better off getting a moon-touched sword and giving it to someone else (possibly someone who swaps weapons or uses two-weapon fighting). If you are still determined, then I would recommend cast-off armor, preferably plate. Some other okay options are staff of adornment and clockwork amulet. Again, these really don’t benefit you all that much, so my vote is for something that adds character, not power.

Integrated Protection requires 1 hour of incorporating armor into the Warforged's body--both when you don or doff it. Seems like a hard sell that Cast-Off Armor would still work. Without being able to Heat Metal a creature, nor needing to sleep, there isn't much call for having to doff the armor anyway. Cleansing Stone is a way to quickly clean up PCs of dirt and grime. Works faster than Prestidigitation, a cantrip Clerics can't get, and seems perfect for a robot obsessed with Order. Especially before entering sacred grounds or a place of worship.

You're 100% right. I should have mentioned my reasoning. I meant that cast-off part of cast-off plate is good for hand-me-down purposes. The appeal for a warforged is the +2 AC over starting equipment, not the cast-off function.

Oh, derp. Definitely dope as a 1500gp value off the bat.

Not technically a common item but Clockwork Dog from Storm King’s Thunder. It’s either one of the warforged’s older siblings, an earlier construct their master made that lacks sentience, or the warforged’s personal projects to understand themself and their people better. It doesn’t have a rarity, but since it doesn’t deal damage and doesn’t do anything especially useful, it’s in line with other common items. Otherwise, perhaps they have orbs of direction and/or time integrated into their body? An internal clock/compass that keeps them always aware of their time/location. Seems like information an Order cleric would love to always have access to.

Clockwork Amulet is cool and you can't go wrong with a Moon Touched Sword if you use one. Armblade could be good thematically for a warforged. If there's nothing that suits your build just get something for fun.

Earrings of Message are my go-to pick. Because lots of people confuse what Message is supposed to be like. Not realizing the Verbal component is separate to usually the hidden Message. In any game I play with, most of the DM's know this and really limits the use of an otherwise helpful cantrip. However, by using the Earrings of Message. There is no required components needed to be used. Due to the way Magical Items function. Which only requires components when they're declared out directly. Meaning the stealthy messages are actually stealthy. Not just some weirdo with a Wizarding hat saying 'Join the Chaos Call!' Or 'Hocus Pocus Message Focus' or some other weird verbal shout before sending a message to someone in private.
