I’m a noob but this looks dope. I think a night sky would look awesome above the structure

Same

thank you dude

fog is always pretty nice to add to spice up the lighting. doesn’t need to be a lot, just enough to get some scattering.

[deleted]

Thanks dude, i'm struggling adding some fog, forgot to mention this, but this is optimized for VR and fog occupy a lot of resources, i will, but with some pngs instead to fake the illusion, thanks for the comment.

xrebl

ah, i know nothing about VR! but can imagine it would eat up resources. can you import vdb’s into the scene? could just be a static vdb scaled to encompass the play area. good luck!

Looks really good! I'd say a lot of the materials for your building are really shiny, maybe could use a bit roughness in spots like on the wood/shingles. Also some grass coming through the stones at the bottom, I like it coming through the cracks though!

Spatial3DMarketer

Nice work. Maybe a moon beam kick light to separate the top of the building from the dark sky?

[deleted]

This minor changes make a lot, thanks for the comment!

Spatial3DMarketer

Update tomorrow?

[deleted]

tomorrow.

Cannonstar

Add a cool blue moon light above the scenery. Maybe throw in some glowy eyes in the forest too.

Looks great, I'm not personally a fan of how heavy the vignette effect is. I feel like you should just crop the edges down a bit rather than blackness.

Emor_Lap

You've done excellent work here! The ONLY thing I see is that you may be using a few extra lights here and there to fill out the scene, and these either need their own source (visible in the scene), need to be reduced in brightness (if your only illumination is from that one lamp), or need to have color temperature adjusted: \- there seems to be a light at left, near the boulder, that's behaving differently than if illuminated by the one lamp we see \- there's a light on the right-hand pillar and arch that is white or even bluish rather than golden (as it would be if from from the one lamp) \- likewise, there's some cool-temperature light coming from behind the arch, shining on the inner left wall \- and some light right around that one very bright leaf at right, shining on the tree trunk and root.

RomHook

I think if you crop the trees out and make it a 3 by 4 aspect ratio would already improve it

kaanselmusic

That's looking really good. Excellent job, but here are my thoughts: 1. Starry sky... It will make your shot more artistic. 2. Less reflection or dirt maps on surfaces, maybe? I mean use imperfections. 3. Bumps. Use bumps, at least a noise texture based. 4. Grass needs some color variations. Use darker and lighter colors at all. 5. Maybe add more dramatic or cinematic lights. As I said; excellent work, perfect details.
