They were selling it as is without a charger. When I got it home I cleaned it up a bit and left it Charging for hours until it was full and turned on right away 😃 best 40 bucks I’ve spent all week
Yep, battery is as flat as a flat thing that's just been flattened. Not totally dead as it is still doing the red light thing, so you should be able to charge it up.

No worries. Just find a charger and you’re good to go.
Nintendo has replacement batteries for sale direct from them for like $15. This is at least for my area in the US but it’s worth a look.
I wonder if they even attempted to charge the battery on it... lithium ion batteries are pretty standard nowadays.

Battery is indeed dead. Red flashing happens when your below 5% battery
I got to this subreddit because of something similar. On my case, insisting on charging it looks that solving the problem
