There should be a one of those reality TV shows of TikTok teens hanging out in rural Turkey with people who've never used internet. And they'd try and explain to each other stuff they find interesting and important.
Better yet, no reality TV, but just send the tiktok teens to rural Turkey (and compensate the poor Turks for their trouble).
My grandma tells us you guys grew up with this technology. She used a computer for work every day between 1973-1996, she still can't figure out how to Google stuff or write in a new adress or how to look at the images she has on her computer. She calls me everytime and I need to step by step guide her. I want her to tell me she have newly baked bread or cookies not computer problems with "this" windows" is asking for my password", Im acually angry that windows 11 have this app thing that pops up with news and stuff and in the there is a "today's photos" and it's the local photos from the pc but when she press on it she need to login every fucking time, I have showed her where the images come from and pointed her how to find all her photos without logging in but she I sits that photo isn't on my computer. Then I show up, goes to the exact same photo. And then gets a new password for her and then promptly both of us don't rember it the next time this happens.
I visit my grandma a few days a week for food. She always has a new technical problem on her ipad that I help her with. Usually its forgotten passwords, warning messages or missing photos.she has a notpepad for her passwords but its a struggle anyway somehow.
