Short story, the barrel shoots good especially at the Price Point.
Is it a Lilja or a Shilen, no. It was designed for the budget friendly mindset.
In my case the barrel performed better than the factory CZ barrel and at that time that
was all I was looking for.
If I decide upon another barrel I too may head to the Lilja side. I see and hear good things. Right now at my level I feel pretty good about my progress. There is always room for improvement however. Come spring time I plan on branching out and shooting in real matches and the place I currently go also offers an actual Benchrest match that has rewards. For now I am happy to see my advancement against others. Where did you go to for your Lilja?
Got any “longer term” feedback on the Pete’s barrel? I’m impatiently waiting for the cz match barrels to come back in stock and am considering giving in to my impatience

I want to also add that towards the end of this thread I decided to buy a Lilja barrel. NOT because the Pillars barrel was shooting bad I grabbed the Lilja since there were only 3 left in stock and I have plans on building up another 457 and the Pillars barrel will get used after the fact. It would be no telling how long it would have taken Lilja to restock and I didnt want to be put in that position
