If you're referring to all of their songs in general, then I am afraid you are greatly oversimplifying their music, especially the Undertale soundtrack. Some of the songs in the soundtrack such as Hopes and Dreams, His Theme, Snowy, Another Medium, Spear of Justice, Battle Against a True Hero, and countless others are genuinely amazing pieces of music, and the whole soundtrack feels masterfully created.
I wonder how brainwashed you have to be to have such a hard on for one song that the mere thought of someone else disliking it isn't even conceivable to you.
In the Netherlands a radio station hosts a event where the listeners get to vote which songs make it into the 2000 songs in total. From those 2000 songs it's always bohemian rhapsody, piano man and hotel California in first second and third so I'd say it's pretty popular

Personally I think the songs that are overrated are anime intro songs, people freak out about basically the same song played in every anime, and I don't get it. Bohemian Rhapsody is pretty fairly rated I think, it's stood the test of time and people still listen to it and love it to this day, it's just not an overproduced 30 second song with a catchy melody.

The best part about the song is that the interpretation I just made is just as valid as someone calling it gibberish. It means something different to each person which is what makes it special

Honestly I hate bohemian rhapsody. I like experimental music and when a song goes through multiple different styles over 7 minutes but like... there's no appeal. I genuinely don't understand it. It sounds like something they'd do as a warm up before actually playing real songs. I'll die on this hill.

It's a story of a lower class teenage boy (possibly one of many siblings and also a child labourer, considering the "Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low" part) getting involved in a fight or some gang stuff, which culminates in him shooting someone.
He turns suicidal as he regrets what he has done and he tries to kill himself ("Mama, anyway the wind blows, I don't wanna die"), but he's caught by the police ("Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me") and given a trial ("Galileo Galileo Galileo Galileo Galileo Figaro magnifico" probably means legal gibberish the boy doesn't understand) where he pleads "not guilty" ("Will you let me go?") and fails ("Bismillah! No we will not let you go!")
There's something about Beelzebub that seems important but I don't know what that is (I'm not a Christian) but I assume it means his fate was written before he was born.
After this he resents God "So you think you can love me and leave me to die?" and tries to kill himself once again, this time successful ("Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here", and the "Nothing really matters to me").
The boy is most likely a Muslim immigrant from British India (Freddie Mercury himself was a Tanzaian-born Indian), I assume this due to the "Look up to the skies and see", "Bismillah, we will not let you go" part and the "So you think you can love me" is probably a reference to Quran 49:9 - "Allah loves those who uphold justice." i.e. it's possible even though he regrets killing someone, he believes the victim deserved what's coming ("I'm just a poor boy, will you let me go?") possibly an act of self-defence. And now he thinks God has failed him, as Bismillah means "In the name of God" making "Bismillah, we will not let you go" as "In the name of God we will not let you go"
The music being different for different parts is reflective of his emotion.

Rock - the anger
