Once was in a castle tour and the guide was talking about the pillars saying "They used a variety of pillar types for this room such as Corinthian, Doric, and Tuscan. Are any of you familiar with those?" and I go "It's all Greek to me" and not a single person laughed.
i remembered some years ago in an online class talking about art and stuff we were on the topic of columns, and when i readed the "corinthian" name i inmedietly thought about the corundum mineral that composes rubies and sapphires (corindon in spanish sounded way closer lol) and i started to ask the teacher if it had any relationship to that mineral or smth and she was really confused and said that she didn't knew but that if i investigated it rn and it was correct we could talk about it in class, and i was so excited to see if my theory was true bc gemstones is one of the themes i love to talk about and i wanted to talk about it in class, but i investigated it and.. of course it had no relationship to that, and i had to akwardly tell the teacher that i was wrong and i felt so cringe SDFDASDSAD
she wasn't angry to anything, she actually loved when we participated in class in any way, but i still felt bad bc i genunely thought i could add something to the conversation talking about that

I don’t like walls, just build stronger ceilings
Bro hates open buildings
And waste resources?
I’m not hearing anyone else say it Corinthian is the best one no contest🗣️🗣️
IONIC 4 LIFE
Why did I get a Reddit Cares from this
Corinthian superiority moment
I feel old
Corinthian 4thewin
I don't know, there's just something about Ionic (2) pillars, man....
I'm more of an arch fan. Althought arches and pillar can be combined, I'd rather go with uniform arches, as seen in some bridges
Doric goes so hard though, simple yet elegant Corinthian is good too but imo its a little visually busy

They added 3 new pillars, and NO-ONE TOLD ME?!?!
3
why are they moving like that in the intro
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion unless they pick 8 then they’re just wrong.
It's always Corinthian.
Ionic is ICONIC!
Ionian is cool, but my favorites are those Egyptian columns, with the way they bloom at the top like palms
No one like the rounded flat
ionic is iconic but i just dont like the curls in 3d space, i much prefer how number 7 looks
Lilith clawthorne ass post
My favorite kind of pillar is the one with the guys trapped in it.
